We Didnt Start The Fire / Day in the Life of an ATSer

Hello ATSers, I spent the afternoon writing an ATS parody of Billy Joels 'We Didn't Start the Fire'. It has an ATS theme based on todays recent posts and members. Enjoy!

No one has replied yet? I thought this was really good! If it wasn't for my health I would have done
parodies like this for years --like Weird Al. I can do the words no problem, but it's the music
I'd have trouble with and getting the music down is easy- you just have to make it sound like the original.
But to make up entirely different words to a well-known song is MUCH harder than people think it is.

I have a similar problem lol, I am OK with the words but I sound like like when you jam your toe under the door.

I saw this thread and it brought me back to sixth grade when me and two friends had to re write this song for our day.. in 1996 for a class assignment. I of course don't have that paper which we had wrote on.
Then our teacher decided it would be real great of us to sing it to each class!!! We were mortified.. But we got extra points so we sang our version of this song to each dang class... Hah.. Good times.

And you did a great parody of this song!! Thanks for sharing this and have great day

I was thinking of doing something to enter the Jan2014 comp but couldn't think of anything lol. I only just became I writer too. 

It,s a shame you dont have a copy of your version, you could have posted it here. I love parodies. Key of Awesome have some great stuff, have a listen if you are bored one day, plenty of giggles.
