If they created this just to prop up the insurance industry then why are Republicans and Conservatives complaining, that is just money in the bank right? Am I to believe that there are no Republican members of Congress with ties to the insurance industry? Should I go and find them?

Like I said in the beginning, the Heritage foundation created the "FRAMEWORK" much in the same way that Ford created the framework for the Mustang. Now the Mustang has changed a lot over the years, it has been redesigned and repackaged, but it was still created by Ford. The name is the thing, The Affordable Care Act could just as easily be called Koch-a-care..

@Xuen - Heh..unless it legalized Cocaine and provided for heavy use as a medicinal substance I am not interested

Can you refresh mine, how many Republicans were driven out of office by Tea Party members spouting uber-conservative nonsense to their rabid constituents? How many were so threatened by the Tea Party that they would not dare stand against them? Do you really believe that the way votes go down in Congress has more to do with personal beliefs then it does maintaining their own power base?

You can abstract personal beliefs.
Personally, most if not all deserve to be kicked out because they are amoral slime, but votes are the only way to measure with any accuracy.

The Dems voted for it.
They own it.
They embraced it.
They looked into the Obamacare Abyss and it looked at just THEM!

The republicans voted against it, regardless of what they actually think.

Define uber-conservative......please. Just give an example of what that is. All this "spouting" that happened ...I am sure you have tons but no need to write a book here.....just one or two examples will do

Probably not as many as you would like to think.
They're too busy with big oil.

Thorn why just not admit the dems screwed the pooch on this one. There is no one else to blame for it. They did this and now they own it.

Ok so you acknowledge both parties are bad and deserve to be kicked out so why do you keep pushing 2 party partisan politics?
Replacing one group of thugs with another will do nothing for the American people and it likely won't get rid of Obamacare because like you said they are amoral slime and people like that won't keep their word.

You want to start a thread on how dumb republicans are, I'm on it!

This is about ownership of Obamacare.

The dems own it.

The republicans don't.

Love them, hate them, but them pancakes. . . . it doesn't matter.

The dems voted for Obamacare.

The republicans voted against it.

It's that simple. You want to blur the edges and spread the blame, you'll be sadly disappointed.

The dems voted for it. They own it.
They should embrace it.
They should smooch it on the face!

It is theirs.

You never debate.

Just hit and run.

But I feel sorry for you so I'm going to star every post you make.

Plus, I formally challenge you on a debate on Obamacare. You and me. Debate forum. One on one.

How about it?

Whats to debate at this moment, might need time to see how romney care really affects americains, all thats out there is hear say, doom porn with big numbers that dont mean anything right now.

And your using the kosh brothers as a good example to bash romneycare, seriously, those dudes buy elections, and destroy what american workers built, so keep up the emotional drama, its really helping americans.

You guys deserve better, more money for education and healthcare.

Forgive me If I am wrong, but didn't the Heritage Foundation and by extension the Koch bros create the framework for the Affordable Care Act back during the Clinton presidency?

Wasn't it all initially instituted by Romney, a republican?

Romney's no Republican.
He's a far right Massachusetts Democrat.

As a side note, why should the supporters of the health care bill need to "defend" themselves from what they did?
They got what they set out to do.

I will not get into the entire Obamacare deal, but I think this is a good example of why big money should not be involved in politics and campaigns.

But hey, we cant let a (potential) crisis go to waste.

You should get to know them. They are a deeply entrenched machine that does not have the best interests of you and I. It is just big big money owning all of our processes.

Scary Chart Reveals Koch Brother’s Insidious Influence in American Politics

Last week, The Washington Post posted a pretty scary graphic that showed all the organizations that are directly or indirectly funded by a network set up by the Legion of Doom , I mean the Koch brothers.

What’s even more terrifying though is that a lot of this money has been essentially laundered, meaning financiers of these operations remain mostly anonymous. But this network has outspent all other independent conservative groups in 2012, raising at least $407 million and funneling it to conservative campaigns across the nation.

The graphic itself is pretty robust, and it’s worth poring over for a few minutes, but the long and short of it is, the Kochs have ensured that almost half a billion dollars are being funneled into deceptively-named organizations to promote their extreme political agendas.

Source

I would make a whole post about these bastages but I don't feel like it. Maybe someone else will.

Looks like the ultra-Left has their hands full.
