In responce to your post i think just walking in to area 51 is an extreamly risky thing to do . are you mad? they will just kill the lot of you when you get within a few miles of the place. The warning sign is there for a reason

It is there for a reason, but they're not going to gun everyone down. At most they'll shoot one or two people to get the message across, then later when they're making a formal statement they'll claim it was "getting out of hand" and maybe say the people who were shot were brandishing weapons or something. I doubt anyone would get killed, but you would all get confined for awhile.

They would call out most soldiers in the USA to take you to prison. You wouldn't get a fair hearing, and they'd exagerate to your charges. Even if your not on the base you will get arrested and put in jail?
How can they arres you for conspiracy if they don't tell you the truth, thats one of the biggest conspiracies in the world...

I agree with an3rkist, they wouldn't gun you down but you will be arrested and heavilly fined, and perhaps you will go to jail for a few years...

I highly dount they will shoot to kill...

I'm curious as to why anyone would want to try and find out what's in Area 51 in the first place. For a base that is supposed to be top secret and not exist, it sure is in the public eye quite a bit.

If there were ever anything there other than experimental airplanes, it's long since been moved to a base we're not aware of.

Frankly it makes the perfect red herring, since it seems everyone is focused on it.

Go at it from all directions, they can't stop everyone...or can they?

Ignore Area 51, try accessing the underground facilities that are supposed to be about 13 miles south. That is where S4 operates apparently.

All staff is supposed to have UMBRA security clearance, which is one up from ABOVE TOP-SECRET and Need To Know clearances which is what the prez has.

You would be surprised if the United States Military couldn't handle a few hundred people running across an open desert? One thing I think this thread could use is a little dose of reality:

Title: Personnel Neuromuscular Disruptor Incapacitation System

Abstract: The STUNBEAM will effectively be proven to be the world's first available "wireless Taser", using electromagnetic energy to create ion "streams" which conduct a static charge which can disrupt neuromuscular control of any human or comparable animal target, at an output of between 25,000 and 100,000 volts with extremely low amperage. The weapon can also be used to disrupt electronic devices. Current technology already has proven results at very short, point-blank ranges of between five and ten feet. This Phase 1 work will deal with the ion streams themselves in the areas of columniation, tracking, limiting scattering effects, and static pulse conductivity in order to increase the range and controllability of a larger-scale device to between 50 and 300 feet. Since work has already been done in this area by Xtreme, one of the final results of the Option portion of this Phase 1 SBIR will be to build and deliver a working proof of concept device with a range of at least 10 feet, which will be useful in close-quarter scenarios as are common with the use of "Tasers". Xtreme has the technical ability, facility, and willingness to forge ahead in taking this technology to the incredible potential it has. The benefits of this system are unlimited. The unit will stun, not kill, its target, allowing for hostages to be rescued easily from almost any hostage situation, and criminals or enemy combatants to be captured, not killed, in a variety of military and law enforcement scenarios. This system will be easy to use and will be portable. Units can be sold commercially to police as well as to homeowners for effective, non-lethal self defense. Other applications of the massive ion generation of related devices can be used, among other things, in air purification and medical sterilization.

StunStrike, a DOD SBIR awarded program, is a patent-pending technology, which delivers aimed electrical energy to a specific objective in order to effectively deter or disable a target in a non-lethal manner.

XADS is currently researching and developing a number of prototypes, which include:

Close Quarters rifle unit with a range of up to 10 feet

Vehicle mounted and/or Fixed-Position unit with a scope of up to 100 feet

The XADS StunStrike units maintain the major potential functions of various security applications, including, but not limited to:

Area Denial

Vehicle Disabling

Rescue Operations

Defense of Military Convoys and Outposts

Further development of StunStrike technologies is also establishing itself effective in defending an area perimeter against incoming Rocket Propelled Grenades by detonating or neutralizing them as they enter the StunStrike's spark stream. XADS has recently received another contract from the Navy to develop this application further.

If there is some sort of plan to run into Area 51, be sure to prepare yourselves for the inevitable consequences.

If you were really going to do this, I would suggest grouping no less than 200 people in a tight group and run like hell together into the area. If they kill all 200 of you, it will be all over the news and it will be the worst thing ever to happen to the government. DO IT!

1) Construct something the size of a large fly or little spider that has the ability to be controlled remotly at distance upto say 50 miles. Has a video camera/picture camera attached to it. Is powered by solar cells to make the long journey....

That's a lot of tech... Then you have to deal with the EF jamming devices that will likely make it crash into the ground. How much power will a fly-sized solar panel provide? You'd be better off going with small bird-sized, and pre-programmed flight plan.

2) Organize a massive amount of people....in the tens of thousands...who would just walk/drive onto area 51 and go to main gates.....you would not have to risk death because of the massive news coverage we would get

Nothing to cover up. It is CLEARLY marked that the use of deadly force is authorized. There is no disclaimer that "up to a certain number" may be killed.

Not to mention, at most you're likely going to be able to catch a glimpse of maybe an advanced spy plane....not a flying saucer. For that, you'd (reportedly) have to go a little deeper into the base's lands, near Papoose Lake, or even underground to other levels.

Just a question here:

Have any of you guys actually looked a a map of the area? Its not like its just over a hill or something. its a pretty long trek through open desert with very little cover and no source of water. I can bet that if one of the Blackhawks flys low and hovers over you the dust and gravel alone would sand blast you into submission.

That being said having participated in the Area 51 research group here on ATS, I analyzed the USGS topos for the whole area. If you come through the groom range via Nellis range you have a better shot at hiding in the hills. Not much of one mind you but better than any other route it seems.

I think the powers that be at area would consider that a hostile action
IE they would state that you had intentionally brought enough people to
overrun security thereby making this a hostile action
which of course in this case punishable by death
that is why the signs state Deadly Force as authorized on all of the
entrances.

and then again you might just get arrested and put in jail for a
long long time....

Then what would have been proven

As a former Air Force man, it is very likly that they might have a few nuclear weapons stored their for testing (they always test the condition of the bombs) and they will not leyt any one go through there. they would not kill you but they would forcefully arest you and bring you to trial. for those of you who think there is aliens there, there is not it is just a test facility where they test secret aircraft (almost all of you know skunk works is or at least was located there, skunk works made the B-2 stealth bomber and SR-71 Blackbird among other secret aircaft). while i was in the force i never heard it mentioned in a serious matter, we just joked about it from time to time, we didnt even know if it actually existed back then.

BIG BROTHER moniters everything on the net.........so they will be expecting you, and NOT with open arms........
They will just be ARMED....

I am close enough to join in on this......but I know better than to try such a thing.......

Been as close as I could get anyway, and there was nuttin to be seen from the perimeters..... I thought IF I had the time to be out that way at night, for like a month or so....THEN I might glimpse something.......but thats a LONG TERM stakeout, and not on my adgenda.

Good luck anyway!

I would buy a DIRT BUGGY off e-bay (you know the ones)

and get it maxxed out for long trips n all .
G.P.S large fuel tank powerfull engine

weld 3/4" plate steel sheeting covering all frame sides making it

bullet proof at long ranges.

maybe a fan in there to keep you cool

paint it ALL desert camo.

head out to the site at break neck speed
even if they find you they will never catch you in their s h i t y jeeps

It would be fun and cheap about 2.5 k plus gasolene

also a good idea if you have plenty of cash is to invest in a portable radar system

so you could see incomming missiles giving you time to disband.

upon seeing approching missile you could calmly exit the vehicle
to a safe distance and pretend your a spastic when the feds get there.

Hey, Trent Reznor rules, guess what i'm lisening to now?

Anyway...like said before, the only way you can find out what is happening there is to become part of it...

"If you can't beat 'em, Join 'em" is the best advise...

I am honestly out of ideas what else to do, breaking the law isn't really an option...

Sending an UAV there...is that considdered espionage? can you be charged for it? or is it just a waste of a UAV?

I own area 51 and i will not be happy if you come near. I will destroy with my secret laser cannon we salvaged from a mothership that we took over with melted mars bars.
