I watched OP's vid, the guy tells about double slit experiment, how observer affect the outcome of it and basicly biocentrism means that concious needs to be the first force, so to speak, in order for universe to texist.
The question: If it takes the observer for everything to exist, WHO are the observers WATCHING our concious, because our concious exist, and makes the reality?

There is no science in this, whatsoever.

Would you agree that the human vessel while alive is a system of energy requiring external energy as in a form or calories to sustain life. Once death occurs the body no longer intakes energy and eventually that energy has to go somewhere based on the Law of the Conservation of Energy? Although I agree the title is way off , but its worth looking into.

It might not give us the answer but its one of the few things we have to go on and IMO its definitely worth investigating based on the Law of the Conservation of Energy? Although, I'm not fully sold on how nothing exist without our observation. I'm sure bears are $h1tting in the woods without us observing them.

Funny thing before I heard of this guy or Biocentrism I had discussed this in my first post in ATS and in the following post where I was surprised that more research into what happens to our energy once we die by the scientific community.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Therefore since lifeforms are a vessel made of energy requiring energy to sustain life , It would appear to me that our energy would then transform into another form or energy or energies as stated by the law of conservation of energy .

Which really surprises me that more physicists nor the scientific community hasn't really done more studies on this using the latest technologies in detecting energy changes. At least that I'm aware of

It's an interesting theory but it doesn't really prove much.
None of us know with any certainty what happens after we die.

For all we know were in the Truman Show

Did you also watch the link posted in a reply ?

Must see !

I just did... and it was at least as jaw dropping, as the one in the OP. I recommend to watch it.

I had posted to this thread earlier and I came back to check up. My post doesn't even exist anymore. I'm never rude or try to start a fire, but I do think it's wrong to totally delete my opinion just because I may be right. YOU may be right as well, but I'm receptive to me being wrong.

We are !!

in this Prison Planet ZOO!

We are the Bad Humans !

They are The Watchers , The 300 GUARDians AKA Angels to Some. to keep us in line from escaping ! ?? just Maybe...

For their Amusement and Their BIO Testing Ground ! !

you know its like a 19th century Anthropologist explorer Observing Pygmy's
or a primatology observing Gorillas but from a Distance

Well Enoch had a Taste !! on board the Mothership...

More Less it Like......
A primate Explaining the best it can with another primate about being on Space Shuttle in Space.. LOL!!

We are a True - Man - (Truman) Planet of the Primates! 98% makeup of Apes 2% possibly Them!!

I do not think any posts have been deleted. If a post is deleted by ats you get notice.. Maybe it never went through right or something..

I wonder if its a bug, i did have one get deleted the other day as well but did not get any messages as to why?

Do you think it is something that is separate from our brain's chemical functions, and is it something that can be separated from (i.e., exist outside of) our brain's chemical functions?

Yes i think it is something that acts outside brain function. At the very least I look at the brain as a kind of antene that receives a signal or it may be possible that everything is just part of a consciousness matrix and reality too is made from that fabric..

maybe if you want to find the end of the universe you have to find the end of your mind...

I agree... it is just a term

we call it consciousness as we call table a table, girl a girl and so on

I see it more like an experience and everything else falls within the remit of that.. including tables and girls and so on..

A greater question would be does consciousness really exist (and I mean consciousness as a separate defined "thing")?

Really one of the few things I really know exists, is consciousness. It is something I directly experience..

??? how exactly ??

Most knowledge we gain is done using language which we use to create a model of the world around us. It is only ever a model is it not a reality. I directly experience my self being that is something I truly know to exist.

Or we really don't have a "separate thing" called a consciousness at all, and consciousness in humans is just the perceived result of chemicals in the brain.

Perhaps when we die, those chemicals stop doing their thing, and so goes our brain and our perceived consciousness.

If that was the case would we have a science like quantum physics in which the very act of observation can change the outcome of an experiment. How can that be explained in the remit of chemicals in the brain.

Who wouldn't want to die now after the experience that guy have had lol

If we are indeed conscious because of the quantum information kept within the microtubules of our physical brains when the body is killed how is that not dispersed across the infinite numbers of universe he believes the multiverse contains?

Well above my remit to answer a question like that. It is possible the laws of physics we look at are not really laws but more tendencies.. Maybe the universe is just as habitual as us...

You may enjoy watching this...

No we dont. But if we can get a better idea of where we actually are. What the universe if made from and how we interact with it we may begin to get a better understanding... Maybe it is like my signature says...

Okay. Allowing for the reality that consciousness moves to another universe after physical death, the question to ask is: what is the power source that keeps consciousness existing?

Until you answer that question port-mortem survival of consciousness is a fantasy, no matter how elaborate or fantastical the theory proposed.

It is a fair question. But you could equally ask what is the power source that keeps the universe here or allows time to flow..

According to quantum theory, that power source would be ones ability to observe. If there weren't the observers to materialize things, nothing would exist.
