Is this why Americans are obsessed with UFO'S ?
It is very rare in The UK that TV news reports talk about possible UFO sightings. In The US they seem to get these reports on their news channels weekly if not daily.
As it was New Year Eve, it was more likely that something would be seen in the sky, possibly Chinese Lanterns.

Celebratory gunfire in Columbus, Ohio? Is that allowed there? Fireworks I can imagine, but I thought shooting off guns in the air in an urban area was strictly enforced.
And thanks for the post. Were the orbs recognizable as shapes, or could they have been standard aircraft with very little if any sound?edit on 2-1-2014 by Aleister because: (no reason given)

The reports also sound like UFO orb sightings. Please don't dismiss all reports as lanterns, the orbs are real

Yes I do have proof they exist on an old phone but I can't upload the footage at the moment. I've seen em many times and stopped meeting them as it started including big motherships and that was too OTT at the time in 2006. I know where you're coming from regarding the reports but this can go both ways as they do sound like UFO orbs too
