Buzz, I'm looking at almost all of your pictures and have yet to see anything but common rocks with the shape of rocks, and the one mistake I made in thinking that at least an image of a "skull and spinal column" appeared in a picture you posted. Can you please point out the few images you think are the best examples of what you are indicating are things other than rocks. Thanks.

This is secondary porosity generated by dissolution of large features (such as macrofossils) in carbonate rocks leaving large holes, vugs, or even caves.

I await funbox's exploration of the pic, and possible color rendition.
And Buzz, living at the Indian name for Sunfish Creek. Aye.
EDIT: Zoomed in, are some of those spokes segmented? Seem to be. It seems to be sitting under the soil a bit, a definite indention, lower then its surroundings, so maybe it was covered by dust or sand, which has blown off at some point. Or it was a larger structure/body which eroded away leaving the bottom impression intact. And the middle "hole", just today I was posting on those holes, vugs, Vuggy porosity, and the Wikipedia information concerning them. Sure looks like a vug (a word I've never heard before today).

And this is a great story, as Buzz's post sat there for almost 17 hours until funbox wandered over for a look, liked what he saw, blew it up, and things started to pop.
I've alerted Arken, Jeep, wildespace, Jade, and the ATS staff on an alert.
