Guys you are great. Just cannot keep up with anomalies you posting. Lets put a circle around what you are talking about for others to remain in a drift.

the bottom of the disturbed rock appears to bend back on itself as though its bent metal.

The bottom of the disturbed rock is in contact with the disturbed soil, and loose soil can get any shape.

Besides that, rocks can have any shape.

im sure armap would not bother if he was not curious.

You're right.

Armap hopes as much as the rest of us -i think?

It's not a question of hoping, as I'm not looking for something specific, it's a combination of subjects I like: geology, space and the possibility of learning more about any subject.

You must have a ball every time you go to the beach. Skulls and pipes everywhere!

That crab thing you found gives hope that things are picking up again. Is this picture from Curiosity? If so that's pretty smooth ground it's traveling on now. How far to The Buttes, with the kids in the back seat yelling "Are we there yet?"

kinda of a small looking skull , maybe an blue-itian or a Perry

*sniff sniff*

by the state of them wheels the kids best hope there's a refuelling restaurant/theme park nearby and "are we there yet" is going to be replaced by "mummy , why have you taken us to this barren forsaken oxygenless land? *choke splutter*

This latest stretch of Martian real estate is pretty boring. As I've said, I like the transitional areas between two different types of terrain, especially if they contain some kind of accumulation of mud and stones.

Come on, symptom, you know all of us on here read each and every post of yours (and the other posts, too) even if only 1% of them might point to something really unusual ... I really wouldn't want to give in just yet!

And don't forget: every pair of additional eyeballs counts, would be good to keep seeing you around!

You know why you have to come back? hahaha, I'll tell you and you will agree. I don't care what happens after this post, but up until this post nobody has starred your going-away post. Why is this important? Because on this massive thread every post has a star. A few of us, I think, have made sure of that. So you have to come back so someone can star your post! Welcome back. That skull was really a nice artifactual-looking thing, like a pendent or something you'd cook up on Halloween. Good eye.
