Wake up folks. This is a classic PTB effort.

Think about this: No Hillary For President = chance for the nobodies to run for office.

If Hillary looks like she's got a chance ... then the 'other team' (if there IS even such thing) has to put their 'best' candidate forward to 'defeat the evil.' If TPTB pull this off again prepare for more despair. Please don't fall for it.

While I'm a pessimist by nature, I seem to have more faith in people than others have. I genuinely hope the 2016 ticket is Hillary Clinton vs Jeb Bush.

A choice like that is what's needed to push people to third parties.

Regardless of what you or I may think or her as a person or as a professional, she does have a resume.

Hillary has what is probably the weakest resume of any high level government official. She was a lawyer, but prior to her run for Senate (a totally different field) she had no political experience. She won a Senate position (in a state she didn't even have ties to) backed largely by nothing more than the name recognition of her husband. She served just over one term when she ran for president (breaking her promise to serve her second term in the process). After a very long and bitter primary she supported Obama in a backroom deal in exchange for Secretary of State, and she stepped down from that after 4 years because she couldn't handle it.

I have nothing against Hillary, a lot of people like her and she clearly has ambition, I even agree with her on some issues. When you compare her resume to some others though, it is quite weak. Like I said before, I really hope she runs. Then I hope the other choice is a Bush. There would be no greater proof that our political system is broken.

Is this knee jerk reaction to this article wise?

Maybe at least one should read it and judge its truth first

I don’t like Hillary at all but that doesn’t mean this article is automatically all false

This swarm mentality that's on full display here is why traffic has begun to lighten on this site in recent months. It just gets tiresome to read what you can read on any Yahoo news comment thread. Just bland rightwing crap from your average idiot guys and not an original insight to be seen in these political forums in thread after thread. What's the point anymore. It's like when every party your pals throw ends up being a sausage fest. What a waste.

anything to add in her defence?

Oh she'll run. And I hope that she beats the GOP hollow. Their civil war promises to be extremely amusing. Anyway, back to Benghazi - here.

Hillary? Really? You think I like her?

Ha!

She's the one who started the birther bullsh*t during the 2008 primary. I don't like Hillary at all. She's an opportunist and a common politician. Screw her. I can't stand any common pols and especially ones who use lies to slander other people.

This - to me - isn't about Hillary. This is about Issa and the media's rightwing echo chamber. Those bastards will someday cross the line from loyal opposition to outright subversion, in their singular focus on grabbing as much power as they can for the corporate bosses who pay their salaries.

The Clinton Machine isn't any better than any other corporate machine. They all suck.

I really don't understand what the desperate need by Conservatives to make Benghazi a horrible damning situation a different horrible damning situation, was all about. The actual Benghazi situation was/is bad enough IMO to knock Hillary out of the running, but by Issa and the rest of the GOP, making up BS and questioning her in a way to try to make the President impeachable, they gave her everything she needed to verbally slay anyone asking her questions in the hearings. Way to go guys, great job... When we have yet another horrible President (Hillary) carrying on the same awful, un-American policies in place since 9/11, look in the mirror and thank yourselves.

Okay I am thinking it was about the video now.
Hillary was covering up for that when she said it doesn't matter, we just need to figure out what happened and why....
What?
It doesn't matter, but we need to figure out why

Anyways
I'm going to put myself in an imaginary role, as a CIA supported/armed terrorist who thinks he has tricked the great Satan into supporting his efforts
And then being shown a video (that I have seen) that if I was only familiar with Bollywood videos appears extremely well produced and therefore obviously mainstream:
I would be so pissed off, that I would want to make sure that the guys that stopped selling me guns would realize they need to sell me more guns to fight the guys that I don't want them to know I sent to fight them.

Aaaaand that's why Hillary said it doesn't matter why it happened but we need to find out why it happened

She was married to a President, who cheated on her...
...and it was the best thing that ever happened to her career.

Her law firm in Arkansas (Rose) was embroiled in scandal, her record as Senator was lackluster and her time as SOS was dismal and riddled with scandal and incompetence.

Can't really stand Hilllary, but is that any worse than a drunken Texan failed senator, a failed business man, and one who believes in zombies?

If someone asked you to watch that video before Benghazi the odds of you even paying attention to what was happening are astronomical. It was worse than those Spanish language videos I used to watch in class. Falling asleep just talki...... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

It's pretty obvious something secret was going on that they can't admit to. It probably relates to arming terrorists, that's something we can't publicly admit with the whole war on terror thing. It would completely undermine the governments position.

This has taken a turn, on the Blaze there is an article that the NYT saying they had a Libyan journalist that was at the embassy gate trying to get in and heard about the movie from one of the attackers.

At this point its irrelevant why they were attacking but that the NYT new and had information on the attackers with someone on the scene and told no one.

This is really starting to sound like something the Clinton's would be involved in and at the very least the NYT let the cat out of the bag trying to defend there article.

Classic preemptive political strategy playing out. They have to go back to the original talking points that were proven to be false after the Benghazi attack, because the lies came from Hilary's state dept, and the CIA.

"what difference does it make?"

Apparently a lot now.
