What are the dimensions for the background image size please?
I want to do something Halloween-y but I'm not sure of the size.

Thanks

Your current one is 200X445. That's about right. ETA: I make mine 455 to be safe. If they are too short, they repeat in the space.

Pixel Space: The new "visible" space for background images is 198 pixels wide and 420-480 pixels tall depending on other factors in your mini-profile and what type of computer is being used to view the site (example: tablet vs. PC).

Based on this, the recommended size for the most common member profile (1 line or no custom title) is 200 X 435. If a two-line custom title is used, the recommended size is 200X445

My wife has a tahoe, but it is not much of a beast (the smaller of their base engine, 4.7l maybe?)

I have a Triton v8. When she asks to drive my truck it gives me nightmares. Its an automatic transmission, but will still squeal the tires when it shifts gears and I am on the accelerator.

You know you don't have to do that anymore... Despite what he tells you....

I remember your car. I can imagine this will be you for a few days....

I remember the first time I let Ms. T drive the Rangie. It has a slightly more than warm 5.7 litre under the hood, so not short on power. We're just driving along like normal, and she decides to leadfoot the accelerator to see what would happen.

Several parts-tightening seconds later, I told her we should keep it at the speed limit, as we were now doing close to 170km/h and still climbing rather quickly. She just goes, "oh" and slows down. Meanwhile I'm imagining the billion dollar fine and my lovely being mashed into a tree all at once.

I let her drive the 4cyl these days....

Tell me about it Temp

I make sure to drive to and from work, and when she has it ............... well what I don't know won't hurt me. She called me when she got to work.

My heart dropped, my first thought was "Damn she's crashed it
" Luckily I got "You're directions were perfect babes".

That was the biggest relief of all LOL.

LOL...i can barely afford to run them here. Although gas (petrol) is down to $2.99/gallon here.

But it should be lower, I would think. We pump it out of the ground beneath us, and refine it locally. The local refinery actually has its own gas stations locally. LOL...amazingly, they can afford to undercut everyone elses prices by exactly 1 penny.

ETA: yesterday i saw someone drive by in a souped up, 2014 Mustang. One of their super special editions (an exquisite silver 427r with electric blue stripes). He punched it and the air filled with the sound of complete pandemonium going on inside his engine. It was an amazing display that lasted less than 2 seconds before he was gone from a dead stop.

ETA2: our streets have no shortage of Cobra's, souped up GT's, and 427r mustangs. Among all other manner of high end, American muscle cars. Oil money is good money, and these young roughnecks are taking advantage of their enormous incomes by buying cars than I can only drool over.

I am guessing that none of you would even know what a Nissan Skyline is. Turbo power!

I have one.

The good thing about them is that they are only thirsty if you drive them hard.

We pay (converted to US gallon and dollars) $7.52 per gallon

Of course most of that is tax, before tax we get some of the cheapest petrol in Europe (61% goes to the gov't)

Just looked up the 427 but blue with silver stripes

*Crosses legs* She's absolutely gorgeous, I'd be hard pushed to choose between her and our favourite G.O.T. character, I think the car just noses ahead LOL

I'm drooling as well bro, drowning in it

Templar, I owe you a big one, considering the numerous details I had requested, I appreciate it, as well as your contributions, Cody and 'Texan. Now, can anyone direct me to the thread that tells me how to put it in my profile?

I think the Tahoe here is similar to the Hilux 4x4. Very popular 4WD here, if you've never seen them look up the Hilux unbreakable ads we have here. Very funny. We have the Tritons too, but I think the biggest they have here is a V6.

The Rangie came with the Jag 4.2 V8 engine as stock, but after some finagling (not to mention a lot of expense) I put the LS1 5.7 litre engine in it. Originally these things come out of the earlier Corvettes, but here they're mostly put in Later model Commodores, kind of the staple Australian family cars. We do a hell of a lot of towing with the business, so bigger is better.

My business partner has the Mustang like Cody pictured, although it is silver with the blue stripes, and only has I think the 5.0 litre V8. They are kind of rare here compared to the US, most are imports converted to right hand drive. I do have a soft spot for American muscle though, always wanted any of the 60s and 70s muscle cars, even some of the newer ones make you drool.

If you go all the way back to the first page of this thread, it explains how to put in the full background image.

If you have any issues just post up again, one of the guys can walk you through it.

Honestly? Not a fan of my own image, especially when stacked next to dollukka's and BFFT's. Up to you if you want to use it even in rotation of course, but not my best work.

Make sure you have an invisible 'avatar'....if not, use the one below
[it's there, I promise....LOL]

------------------------------------

-----------------------------------

The invisible goes in the 'avatar' spot

And your actual image that Templar made is your 'background'

Keep all that were made for you and change out when you feel the urge

BTW Templar, good job!!
To the others as well...

He needs to be more specific.

ie: R34 twin turbo 4x4 ( godzilla ) or an RB variant single turbo rwd .

Rice can be nice ...

CX7 turbo here ... I wanted a V8 but the handbrake said no !

175kw 350nm - a reasonable compromise.

I had to look that up, never heard of a CX-7, much less a turbocharged one at that.

Sounds like the ultimate sleeper.

Never been a fan of the skylines, every wannabe boy racer drift king up here seems to own one, even though I've owned a few of the RB series 3.0L and turbo'd versions of the VL Commodore in my youth. Don't get me wrong, the later ones look nice and go hard, just the drivers seem to belong to... Well, a more bogany, douche class of driver.

Then again it could just be the proximity to Toowoomba....
