Alaska, actually. Our snow was gone really early this year, and there hasn't been much precipitation since then. The whole state is a tinder box. This one started Sunday evening and has spread over 21,000 acres already.

Not yet per say, but I'm ready to take off at a moments notice. No worries here on that one.
The camper is loaded and ready to go. The boys even have their own little bug out bags by the front door. You guys are all proving to be a great distraction for me since I can't go outside really today. Thank you for that and your thoughts and prayers!

He is pretty sweet. We actually had him and several of his fellow moose wander through in the last couple of days. They can smell it, so they have all come through the yard and munched on my flowers on their way to safety. I will try and snap a picture of him with his nubbies next time I see him.

So rest easy, he's safe and sound! They are smarter than some people.

I followed the instructions on how to have my avatar as my background. I copied the transparent image link into my avatar and selected my avatar image as my background, but it just shows white as my avatar. Any help would be appreciated.

your image is wayyyyyyy to big and is only showing the white part. Try this one instead:

Thanks, I failed to mention I followed the instructions on resizing the image using Paint. Also, I'm unable to upload any images using my laptop for some reason. It says "Done, but with erros on page". I used an ipad last night just to upload the image that was too big.
