Can anyone tell me why my avatar is messed up? The clear GIF doesn't seem to be the right size and the portion it "covers" is more translucent than transparent

You were needing to resize to the current specs. 200X450 seems to work well. Here you go:



I also added a little more sky in at the top so the lady would be more visible in the center.

Hmmm. Right now it looks like your image is both your Avatar and your Background...

Try this:
I do it from the image upload itself, as it's easier for me (you may already do that as well). So, from the clear gif upload, choose the "little person" icon (avatar space), and then on the image upload for your beautiful lady, choose the Mini- Background icon:



See if that helps?? I've messed mine up a bunch of times! lol!

Yes, that's the way I was taught to do it in the first Avatar thread That's why I could not, for the life of me, figure out what was wrong.

Its been so long since I played with graphics, I never even thought about needing a resize..lol
