That's great news in a weird way RR

If it's an infection it's far more easily treated, (unless you use my sisters doctors LOL) they can give general anti-bios usually Amoxicillin or a derivative thereof, until the guys in France grow the cultures, then they can target the specific bacteria with specialised drugs.

Chuffed as nuts for you RR, this could indeed be good news

Protein is hard for the kidneys to process. Our ancient ancestors used to eat lean protein diets. Dogs do well with it, too. But modern man....cannot process to many proteins.

Mental issues can very, very easily stem from physical illness. The 2 biggest culprits are diabetes being out of whack, and kidney infections.

As his blood gets filtered for toxins, his mental state will improve. From there, the important part is treating the infection. Like Cody said...Amoxil should clear up most kidney infections. Cephalexin works well, too.

Here's to a speedy recovery. To catch a woman like you, he really must be special.

Its weird if you think, no food is good for us in every diet there is something which doesn´t do well with us. Grain is understandable as its rather new diet and therefor we are not adjusted to it yet, people have had grain in their diet about 10 000 years. Thinking protein .. why all the suddenly its bad for us too.. why aren´t we build to eat something that really suits us ?

Well, I eat a high protein diet. I am likely on the upper end of what one should eat. I off set that with fats and fiber. I don't eat carbohydrates typically, so the grains thing is the part I leave out. I try to follow a diet of a human right before grains were mass farmed. That seems to suit my body the best. Few tubers, lots of greens, lots of fatty meats, I am not afraid of peppers and tomato, and i keep fruits to a minimum. I avoid milk and yogurt, but consume all other dairy products.

We have some glutein free grains in our diet, kid is type 1 diabetic so we cannot be without carbs as that is not good for kids growing up.. so there is some carbs but "healthy " carbs..
Other funny thing about grains in human diet is that those allowed us to improve ourselves when finding time to other activities and as a fast energy also improved our brains too. There were quite a leap in progress in human history when grains came to diet.
I eat everything.. i like good steaks, i love vegetables but im not a cake person. Now im hungry...

I LOVE breads. But they make me fat. Very fat. So i abstain for my own health.

Some folks handle carbs better than others. Whatever it is making up my digestive system, it really does handle fats exceptionally well, while doing poorly with carbs. Even heartburn...only caused by carbohydrate rich foods like grains and fruits.

Thanks from the bottom of my heart you guys.
I'm usually a tough nut,but when it comes to my husband I get teary-eyed.

Visited him at the hospital today, I believe he will be fine in 10 days, as you guys said, once they find the cause for the infection, and treatment has already started.

Just knowing that besides my brother, family members, coworkers, and friends, I can also count on your support means so much to me.

I truly feel blessed.

Wishing you dear Cody and BFFT a pleasant evening, I already thanked for your kindness in my prayers tonight.

Good night.

Hi Candlestick

Welcome to the thread, I made this for you to put in your closet in case you ever feel like going darker. You did ask for ugly avatars in the bolt hole, I don't think this is ugly but it is the opposite of what you have. Call it a welcome present.

Cody

Thank, but I feel too much "dark" on this website ,maybe the avatar is the thing can "not dark "only.

Just a bit of positive input Cody...

I would change a few of the colours around to make the dragon stand out more. At the moment it's too much of one thing, you really have to look to see the dragon against the background. Perhaps some purplish clouds or even a softer yellow either on the dragon or behind it will make it stick out more.

Thanks Night Star,

You must be psychic.I just told him last night that I'll send him my guardian angels to help look after him.
I appreciate the kind gesture, and your angel is beautiful, thanks.

I'm going to visit him this afternoon. Hopefully with better news this time.
