I've heard that the Mormon church is somehow fashioned after the freemasons. Does anyone have and insite?

There are probably a few threads about this and even more by going to google.com and looking.

What I suggest is do some research and give us a bit more than one sentence. If you show that you have done some work and so-on, many people here are more inclined to get involved.

I have been a non practicing member of the mormon (they refuse to excommunicate me) church for the past 12 years or so.

One thing we were always told is this.

It is prophecied that when the constitution hangs by a thread, the mormon church will step in and gain control of the United States.

Pretty NWO sounding to me.

Long ago, when I asked my Bishop about the Mormon/Masonic connections, he said, We are doing the Lord's work. We are the restored true church and we practiced these things long before the Masons were even around. The reason for the similarities are easy to explain. The Masons borrowed God's techniques from the church and still do to this day.

And people actually wonder why I stopped attending.

As far as Ed Decker goes, some of his stuff is good, but like any field of research, he also spreads the disinformation pretty thick to suit his own agenda.
