A preface is.....a statement.... made at.....the BEGINNING .....or the introduction.......of an argument...or when presenting a view point... or making...... a proposition.

He didn't do that. Go read the article. He mentions the bible and god only towards the end in a lame attempt to support his words, that is LAST, not first...and so NOT a preface as I described. And he does this god ramble only after he has spewed a series of sickeningly abusive and unqualified, un-prefaced bigoted statements for over two pages. That's akin to a robber robbing a bank and then going to church later to thank God for it!

Go see the quotes I sent in reply to you. Not one ownership/preface statement is there before those two paragraphs begin.

If you followed this it's clear it was never a publicity stunt. How is A&E going to collect damages?

If you don't like what Phil said, stop watching AE's show duck dynasty.

If you don't like how AE handled the situation, stop watching the channel.

I don't see what the big deal is here.

If your feelings were hurt, life sucks get over it. If a TV show hurt your feelings you need to get your head out of your ass.

I think it's fair to say he's not a "real Christian", the guy is loaded and has been for a while. The New Testament is a bit ambiguous about matters of sex and sexuality, but makes it VERY clear that nobody rich is going to heaven.

What about when they have a history of destroying people/websites and they demand ATS comply or they will destroy them, and ATS bans you? Is that right? You can argue all day long it wouldn't happen, but IT DID HAPPEN in this case.

They also demand every company that advertises on ATS joins irthe crusade or they will destroy them too. Is that right? Is that how things should get done?

That is basically what happened.

Stop your obfuscating trying to say what you think would or would not happen on ATS, we are talking about what DID happen and putting it into ATS terms.

No, by his own admission he is not a Christian, but the Bible is very easy to understand and he knows it extremely well and he knows that no rich person can go to heaven.

What you said makes sense. It has nothing to do with what is going on in real life though. This is about GLAAD attacking Phil, and demanding every sponor of the Duck Dynasty brand join their attack or they will be destroyed as well.

I think you are putting words in Muse7's mouth. I don't want to do the same thing, but I honestly don't think Muse would support the idea of banning anyone from tv. Being fired for is not the same as being banned.

Phil is free to "join" another channel, (site) if he chooses.

He just got "banned" from A&E because of his opinion.
