???? I don't remember seeing that in the gospels. ??? Is that from Revelation? If so, that's so full of allegory (and probably hallucination) trumpets and seals etc etc ... I'm sure it's not an accurate physical description.

If Jesus were alive today he would be called an Arab or black. In no way would he have been called Caucasian.

Arabs are technically caucasian. Jesus, being Palestinian, wouldn't be 'black'.
Olive skin and black hair/eyes is caucasian.

Semites (which includes Arabs, Berbers and others in the region, not just Jews) are Caucasian.

FOX News wouldn't mind it if everybody were white. In fact they are doing their best. And Christian. And the women are all blonde, the men goofs, and the only black people allowed have to know how to clear tables and which side the bread is buttered on. Rupert Murdoch is rolling over in his grave, and he's not even dead yet (just one of his hobbies).

What do you really expect from a "news" service that had to sue for the right to lie to the people. FOX only has two requirements for female news anchors. Big breasts and a bottle of peroxide because you need to be blonde also.

I think Jesus would be tannish(lighter shade of brown like) like the people in middle east today, hair might be a bit thick and curly. The current "jews" are far from the colour of the old jews.

Seems they heavily favor the thin blonde females who are 'well chested'.

Show me Caucasians that naturally have hair of wool. And Jesus was not a Jew you have to practice Judaism to be a Jew and he didn't. Remember they drove him out. There is no such thing as a race called Jews just because a bunch of people practice the same faith it doesn't make them a race.

In her complex piece, Harris writes that as she grew up she became disappointed that a black Santa her family invented for themselves 'wasn't the real thing'.

'But just because it makes you feel uncomfortable,' Kelly said Wednesday, 'doesn’t mean it has to change. Jesus was a white man, too.'

as for the original article i think this aisha harris is actually more upset that not only did her parents lie to her about santa they lied about his race and shes disappointed with them, not everyone else for deciding santa is white. thats literally like saying "oh everyone thinks god is white? but my parents said he was black! i guess everyone else is just wrong and im gonna go ahead and make god black for everyone so i feel better about being lied to as a child"

I have mediterranean blood. My grandparents on my father's side were Italian. I say we start a new race for the olive skinned. Let's call it the superior race. The Arabians did more to advance knowledge in the world than the European race. We even use the Arabic number system.

Show me how the book of revelation describes anything solid ... it is all 'dream state' and allegory and signs and things that represent other things. It was highly suspect for the first 500 years of Christianity and was rejected by the majority of the church fathers for the first 500 years. Even now the church says it has no clue what it all really means ... if it means anything at all. John was in a dream state ... or a hallucinatory state .. when he wrote 'Revelation'. It's not a first hand gospel account of Jesus.

And Jesus was not a Jew you have to practice Judaism to be a Jew and he didn't.

His mother was Jewish and from the line of David.
His father - depending on your belief - was either God Himself, or was Joseph.
Joseph was described as a 'good Jew' who followed the laws.

I've known plenty of White people with short, curly hair - one guy I knew had hair so short and fuzzy it was unmanageable. Not really sure what your point is here.

As for Jesus being a Jew, he was a Jew and practising one at that. He just had knew idea's about how it should be done. His parents were Jewish and, considering you are clinging to Bible verses as fact, his genealogy is well described in said book.

You may say that being a Jew isn't a race, and today you'd be right (see Ethiopian or Indian Jews, for example) but back then it was just a small religion occupying a small geographic area encompassing some very specific tribes. On a larger scale, he would certainly have been of Semitic descent which would make him a Caucasian.

Your argument he wasn't hinges on a bible verse saying he had curly hair..Wow...

There are three racial categories - and they are the Mongoloid race, the Caucasoid race, and the Negroid race.

All Semitic peoples are part of the Caucasoid race. So I'll leave it to you decide to which one Jesus belongs.

BTW - all Latino/Hispanics are of the Caucasoid race - they do not belong to their own special racial category.

Jews certainly are NOT a separate racial group as they try to claim.
