Dear Cuervo,

1 Peter is full of things we should try to do and goals to be striven for. For some, their defense of their hope will be of the simplest. For others it may be sophisticated apologetics and philosophy. It is not expected that every Christian taken off the street should win a debate against a professor who has been doing the same thing for decades.

It is not necessary, or wise, for every Christian to jump into every debate.

I find beauty and righteousness in many biblical passages, as well in many of the other holy texts, all the way back to pre-history.

Believe what you will believe and pray we can do things the right way, or at least the best way we can for Earth and her inhabitants. That's the way I see it.
