No Payment System Built Into Obamcare Website - Now What?

So we now know for sure that there is no payment system built into the ObamaCare website.

So what if you qualify for a subsidy ?

How will the government know how much to pay the insurance company ?

Answer: they won't know.

So, the insurance company will now somehow come up with a "Guess" and that's what the government will pay, then a "Real" amount will be settled on later !!!

The magic question is: How will that "Guess" be arrived upon ?

If the website was able to give you a subsidy amount, WHY now is a "Guess" by 3rd parties necessary ?

Sounds like an open door for monumental mistakes & errors not to mention fraud.

Obama officials confirmed there was no method of payment built into the Obamacare website. Without a payment mechanism, there is no way to officially enroll in a real sense by going through the website.

So what is the administration going to do? They are going to let the insurance companies ESTIMATE what they THINK they should be getting based on “sign ups” and the government is going to pay it out to them. Once system is built the government can then settle with the insurers. So the government is just going to give the companies our money on an honor system until they can figure it out. What a mess.

Obama will make up more rules on the fly like throwing money at the Insurance company's under the guise we will settle up later if we ever get this program right all the while someone is going to be pocketing a lot of tax payers money.

The corruption and graft is beyond the pale at this point, if someone doesn't impeach this guy why should he even worry about holding elections in 14 or 16, he can name himself POTUS for life and no one will do anything...that's about all that's left at this point.

Dont read too much into this, everyone knows the IRS has our backs....I still cannot understand how screwed up this whole trainwreck is. but the IRS will be completely fair to the hard working taxpayers that produce all of the funding for this joke. dont worry, its all good....next up: single payer shrinks, you like your plan? you can keep your mental doctor......

OK this is getting confusing. So now I have to:

1. Go logon to a government website that barely works
2. Try to buy a product I don't want
3. Be fined / taxed by the IRS if I don't buy the unwanted product
4. Put a bunch of personal information into said website that has little security
5. Select a plan I can't pay for anyway.
6. Hope same government can figure out who owes and how much

I dunno, something's wrong with this picture.

I'm sick, I'm just simply sick to my stomach! What am I supposed to do? I can't afford the "Affordable" care being offered, I do NOT want to put my information onto their unsecured site, I don't want the coverage they're offering, I certainly don't want to get caught up in a "who owes who what" game... this is an absolute train wreck!!

What is it going to take for this administration to see that this is NEVER, EVER going to work?! Pride cometh before the fall, that's all I have to say!

And because the ACA never really addressed the cost of healthcare and how much to be charge, this will be the biggest loophole that will give power to the very soon biggest than banks monopoly to do whatever they want.

But, I can not wait when everything will come crash down on the imbeciles head that created the ACA as the healthcare in America that right now is the biggest waste and abuse in the civilized world crash the US economy.

Because waste and abuse is the core base of Americas corrupted capitalism.Remember 2008?

But don't worry if the government have not set up payment plans in the website I am sure that the new found powers of the IRS will make sure you pay one way or the other.

It's incredible,I almost want to think he was relieved from office years ago, just left in to keep the peace.

Jesus christ this is beyond ridiculous. Why is it so freaking hard for the U.S. government to design a functional health care system which is simple and works and doesn't rob people blind?!? Didn't Obama look at other countries which have government operated health care and see how they manage to do it in a cheap and simplistic manner? It's not that damn hard, why does the U.S. government have to make it so hard...

Funny. The states that chose to set up their own exchanges, ie. the smart states, are not having this problem. People in Montana are already making their first payments to the health insurer they chose out of their exchanges.

It doesn't change the fact that those states still have sky high premiums, sky high deductibles and very narrow care networks for those plans.

So, you still didn't get to keep your policies, save $2,500/year on your premiums, or keep your doctors.

It sure does. Those states did there own thing, and a good friend of mine got a better deal than he had on his wife's insurance. He's now on the exchange paying $240 a month less. I'm not saying everyone is like that but Montana built an exchange with many non-profit insurance companies and it works.

As for me? I just kept my policy that I've had for years. Went up about $8 a month. Family coverage, BC/BS.

As the years go by and America continues to fall apart, Americans will be pointing to this period of our history as the time that sealed the fate of our country. The question is ... is Obama and his administration really this incompetent or are they purposely destroying us from the inside.

But some are working fine.

Montana is one of the luckier ones. You already had a fairly expensive market. Your expected increase was projected to be fairly light.

Stories from around here are far less benevolent. Most people in this state will be seeing catastrophic hikes. When our employer coverage gets dropped next year, ours will triple. If the employer keeps coverage ... there's no telling what will happen, but it will almost certainly get more expensive because our market was far less regulated than Montana's meaning our rate changes will be far more drastic.

This is all high farce. Don't allow any aspect of your life and times
to be controlled by anyone else, big or small is the bottom line.

Is very simple to understand really, American is run by private interest, that is why anything that is set for the public is never to be for the benefit of the public.

That is why anything the government do not works for anybody else but the private sector.
