Hellooooooo ATS

What happens when a guy straps a camera to an RC Car, and drives it into a pack of lions? Well….

Photos

AWESOME.

Thanks OP, really enjoyed that, the 3 grown men looking back at the snaps were like schoolboys, that was amusing in its self.
But alas, I'm saddened and shocked at the lion populations rapid depletion.

I know those figures were horrendous right?!?!?!?!

I just wish they showed more of the images! I really hope they do more but with different animals. Monkeys would be awesome.

Wow, that was even better than I thought it was going to be!

I just had a goofy grin right from when the car 1st arrived til the end.

Thanks for sharing!

Excellent footage, deserves to be embedded I think:

Anyone else notice the poor beat up girl on the left, with one wreaked eye and a shredded ear?
Poor thing has been in a bad fight by the looks of it.
Edit:
She is at 2mins 57secs-and I noticed another poor girl with a nasty scar on her face in the same shot-2nd from right.
Awesome creatures.

You are a star! Thank you.

YES! I did notice her. I noticed that all of them looked much skinner and rougher than those in a zoo. A proper look at the wild I think.

I also think their reaction to the camcar (see what I did
) Was very interesting. They were not scared, as if they knew it was not threatening. They were so intrigued, they nearly fought over it. Brilliant stuff.

They did look skinny didn't they?
But at the same time, they looked so wise.
We need to protect these beautiful animals.

Neat. I bet he picked Nikon for this because of the built-in interval mode. No need to remote-trigger the camera in any way, when the camera takes a picture every so many seconds on its own. (I know this because I have a Nikon, dunno if the Canon gear has that feature.) I bet that makes it much simpler to setup the car. Not to mention the cameras are rather nice too.

Cool shots out of this, but there's also some luck involved. If I did the same it wouldn't be as impressive, yet some people might like looking at cute and curious house cats approaching in a similar manner.
