I just love when people try to trash you or your opinion (your idea is "washed up" or whatever) and then rush to say silly things like "no offense."

Anyway, OP, you seem to be very confrontational. No offense. Might I suggest you be a bit more accepting of others opinions? They're just as valid as yours are (though I guess that makes my opinion "washed up" too). You might find that your threads will be less likely to get "derailisized" or whatever. Jeesh.

No offense...

ETA: Oh... and you may want to put whatever it is that is "the whole point of [your] thread," in the OP rather than at the bottom of the first page.

I honestly would'nt know, maybe they just function better at other levels, for instance my hubby is clairvoyant/psychic but he absolutely sucks at DIY-while some people are grandmasters at woodwork and DIY while oblivious to any presence i would feel next to me,or that hubby could see or feel.Or not having any ability to sense anything except what their normal senses tell them-and be aces at maths, which i for instance,am pathetic at.So in that way,i would say, one's inability to sense an entity behind one, does not make one better or worse,or detracts or adds to the quality of your life experience,as long as your general contribution in an incarnation is a positive one.

As to WHY some people feels nothing,or sees/experiences nothing-i just do not know. Why do i have zero aptitude for maths? i just do not know

I am sure a lot of folks Have experienced "stuff' but like i mentioned in another post,in some societies speaking out about carries a stigma, even if its benevolent like:"she's so eccentric, slightly dotty, but a very sweet person nonetheless" So i can understand why some folks would never speak of it if it DID happen to them-but as for the ones who genuinely has never had even one slightly weird/paranormal feeling-i can only repeat,as with my inaptitude for maths,or another's at learning languages,or another's ability at OBE or baking fabulous cakes-i just don't know.

Why do all ghosts speak English? Why is it that anytime you hear, "Get out" in spain or Germany it is literally get out not in there language. Did the ghosts of the world get together and say we need a common language guys?

I was going to say the same exact thing. Maybe jumping down peoples' throats for stating something outside of the constructs of your thread has something to do with it being "ruined"? And furthermore, maybe if you made the point of this thread somewhat clear, you'd receive a better response? Because as of right now, I'm still not certain what the point of this thread was. All I took away from it was the fact that you get offended if someone doesn't agree with your stance(?) on ghosts?

What, to you, is the most profound evidence of the paranormal?

Whenever I doubt the paranormal, I simply turn on some ghost stories late at night while I'm going to sleep. No, not fake ghost stories... if you know what I mean... but real accounts, you know, Coast to Coast works pretty well though the Host's presence is comforting enough to kind of forget about the whole negative aspects of the experience.

But, perhaps... any sort of thing would work, just playing a random youtube vid full of ghost tales or something. or putting one of the many slideshows on youtube up of scary and supposedly real ghost photos while youre sitting at home... alone... in the dark... in the deepest recess of your house or dwelling..

I mean, who... who can deny that presence?

Who can sit in the complete dark, ghost photo after ghost photo, ghost tale after ghost tale... reading about ghosts and stuff all night... and NOT experience this?

*snip*

Well, I won't deny that there is something to the stories (seen too much, and heard even more from family and friends, televised and other accounts aside), but I don't experience that! Why? Well, one, I don't allow those things IN my house, and two, I live with a guy that's basically a "ghostbuster", simply by being there. No joke. Some time back, when I DID have something(s) in a place we lived, nothing EVER happened when he was there. I know what you mean, though. Some time back, before I got a bit tougher on the issue, I did get the same feeling. They prey on fear.
