I breed Bengal cats which are a hybrid of the Asian Leopard cat. They're spotted like leopards because they are partial leopard but domesticated. They're not huge. The males average probably 16 pounds and females are smaller.

Just wanted to show you a photo of one because most people have never heard of them. They are more like dogs in the way they act. They come by their name, play fetch and are facinated with water and many will get completely immersed in the toilet or bathtub. I've been breeding them (well they breed each other, I just point out which two I want to breed. LOL) for 9 years now. Here's a photo of one.

Wow, that's huge ! Personaly, I'am not to partial the cat species ! I've had some bad experiences sleeping in the same room as a cat, after waking up every half-hour with a cat jumping on your face and chasing God knows what through the room, I lost my patience for them !

This breed seems more 'civilized' though ! I would still rather have a pet tiger !

The profile picture shows the front end looks like a "cat"
(and pretty intelligent looking at that), but that rear end
is something else. Are Bengal cats fast runners? Looks
like a lot of muscle in that rump.
A purring cat is always soothing...

Absolutely gorgeous!

(Nice cat, too...)

Seriously, though, what a thoroughly cool looking animal.

Got any good links?

They're very athletic animals. They are super intelligent. One example is I had locked myself out of the house one day and I happened to have the phone in my hand, so I called my husband to come home and let me in.

I had a Bengal named Goldie and we had lever door knobs and I knew she could let herself into any room of the house.

well anyway, I saw her walking down the hall through the window and I called her name and she looked up at me and ran and hit the lever and I was in. It was funny to tell the husband that Goldie let me in.

Then I had another one potty train herself to go # 1 and 2 in the toilet. They're just so different.

Most people that buy from me are in the Seattle area and I've had so many women come to buy a kitten for themselves and they would tell me their hubby hates cats. About a month later, many times the woman will call back and wants another one because the cat-hater fell in love with this dog-like cat and now she needs one for herself.

I have shipped them to Finland and Japan and Puerto Rico also.

Yes I have a website and that's pretty much all I use to sell my cats.

Here's a good place on my site to go to. It's letters and photos from previous buyers. These people talk about their cats and their idiosyncracies.

There are 4 kinds of Bengals. There's spotted ones, marbled ones and snow spotted ones and snow marbled ones.

Those are some cool cats!

I have a Turkish Van that I would swear has the brain of a dog. It follows me everywhere. Runs to the door when I get home, and even lays like a dog with it's back legs stretched out and it's chin on the floor. He doesn't mind water as long as he doesn't get completely soaked.

He also likes fooseball.

My god parents had a Siamese who gave birth to a male with a glandular problem - he ended up being the size of a medium dog! It actually roared, not purred!
Since then, I've alway loved the idea of an attack cat, being that their athlecticism is superb.
What do they go for & what does one look for in a pure bred cat? I know with dogs, since I researched much on my Cane Corso.

Here are my two bundles of joy.

Very nice looking cats. Was it hard to get them to breed?

Sorry! Third consecutive day of working 10 or more hours straight so I am in over-tired hysteria mode.
