It's not Hell Yet! Somehow we went to game play to Real Play now. Since man decided to Play God things have changed! You could be sitting on another Planet, yet somehow You are still Here Too!

One could say We were the Fallen Angels, cast down to Earth to actually learn from our Mistakes. Or that Mans time is up, time to Grow Up or pass away so some other Lifeform can have the chance to Live. Surely you don't think we could stay on Earth forever do you?

Even if you considered how we are living Now in 20 yrs what will it be like? Hell is just around the corner, all of the Karma catching up to us. It used to be people worked togetter, played togetter and worked things out. Einstine was right when he said we would Lose if Tect became more important then people!

And that was how many years ago?

I think this is a muslim belief aswell, something to do with this being the `shaytans` land.

This would also tie in with the temptation of Christ story when Jesus was taken up to the top of a mountain by the devil who showed him all the kingdoms of the world and said if he bowed down and worshipped him he would give all these kingdoms to Jesus.

So taking that into account it would seem the earth is actually the devils stomping ground.

HOKER, SOR, HERES ZE THING…. (Anyone who gets that reference, HUGE digi-hi five to you)

End of the world.

Am I right?

To keep to the topic; I believe that, alike light and darkness, heaven and hell can exist metaphorically within each of us.
Boring, I know.

Adam and Eve were cast out into the outer darkness, where Satan rules and this is the earth.
So yes The Earth is a hell of sorts

Every time I think of this topic it makes me think about past experiences and things I have seen/heard happen to other people. Now to say earth is hell just doesn't sit quite right with me because I have had very positive and happy times. That being said I have also had some very negative and unhappy times. So what am I getting at here?
(Like others have said this is not the only way I think or I think this is fact or whatever just a little mind expanding.)
I think the only way you will see any beautiful in this world is if you maintain a positive attitude and outlook on life.
For me when I wake up and look outside to see our vast blue skies and birds chirping. It makes me think this place couldn't possibly be hell. Or heaven for that matter. It is Earth. Our home. OUR planet.
Heaven/Hell is just a metaphor for real life.

well it was always easier for the faithful to not give a crap about how the world is, when they can just do their little bare minimum for their god, and be saved from this all in the afterlife.

but the much more likeliness that there is no soul, or heavens/hells. and what we have here is it.
then we are making our own hell unnecessarily, and SHOULD be stopping it.

i take offense to the theory that earth life here for us is the real biblical hell.
because that is just passing the blame. removing yourself from responsibility for whats bad about this place, and just wanting it all to be some gods/demons work and we couldnt help it.
that is the true irresponsibility.

no problem. I was actually referring to when you said

Suggesting there is such a thing as hell implies there is such a thing as heaven.
If we don't agree, then so be it.
. a that time of my last reply the if we disagree so be it didnt really register in my mind so i presented a counter point. accidental and did not intend confusion or anything else

Have you thought of the possibility that Earth could in fact be Heaven ?
Hell could be a far far worse place than Earth.

Aldous Huxley said "Maybe this world is another world's hell." I think that's an interesting thought.

If you're in a third world country and have no source of income and struggle to survive in harsh environments then I can see that being hell, but if I'm Beyonce and living way past my needs in my multi-million dollar mansion then I would see that as more of a heaven.

Wowwie, you are entirely relating comfort of this reality to materialistic concepts. You think Beyonce is happy living in her mansion, surrounded by her things. I seriously doubt that.

I have spent a great deal of time in third world countries, among the harsh environments you speak of, and i have to say from my own experience that the people that live are a great deal happier than those in the western world.

A friend on mine once met Mother Theresa, and he asked her what the biggest problem in the world today was, expecting her to answer with something like, the starving in Africa, or the homeless children in India.

But she responded in saying "the desperation of the Western world!"

Ive thought this since the 1960's. If one can accept the possibility of reincarnation....then perhaps if we "do-it-right" the first time...we go to what we term "heaven". And if we DONT do-it-right...we have to come back to this hell-of-Earth to do it all over again...until we get it right.

To be denied to go on to heavenly rewards...and have to come BACK to this place over and over...that certainly would be hell.

Everyone wants to go to heaven...but nobody wants to die.

Interesting concept, I think this is a form or level of Hell. What heaven would put such evil in the heart of men to murder little children or to give them cancer to end their lives before they have begun. What heaven would make one die an agonizing death and have cancer ravage their body or have them murdered in a cold calculated assault or terrorist attack be it home grown or otherwise. What heaven would make us work to get by only to have our lives ruled by the government we are under. What heaven would cause all the evils in the world to spread so that we will never see peace on earth?

Those who say they believe it is a state of mind and that they are pretty happy, wait your turn will come to experience this hell. Do you think the people who have lost their homes in some disaster or another are not living their own personal hell? I bet they are, we never know when it will happen but every one of us will go through something in this lifetime that will make us think twice as to whether it is or it isn't. To those who have have not experienced hardship or pain in this life, lucky you, don't get too comfortable though.

What about those suffering mental illness and their family coping with that illness? Ask them about hell, I am sure they live through hell every day. Why do we have so many illnesses that some get and others don't, if this was any form of heaven do you not think all would be good with the world and our lives would be rosy.

I can somewhat understand Her quote. Here in the US, it is made to be all Peaches and Cream. Now for the past few years it is now becoming more like a 3nd world! No one wants to actually See what is going on on this Planet; what they see on the news anyway is nothing compaired to what is.

How could the poorest of the poor live a better life then us? Everyday they have to deal with war in the streets, lack of food, warmth, clean water and even having a house to call home. Yet it is the Love of Life that keeps them going, to be greatful, respectful, caring and all the stuff we lack in the US. Come to think of it though, one would think the US sold it's very soul to the Devil!

Now the US is getting a taste of what its like to be Human again! Somehow we lost that long ago. I can say for a Fact She is right on point! The dollar is what most want in the US, leaving out humanity to a take or lose it your choice. Then to make matters worse, we take from others; Countries for Our good only.

Most would say here in the US. Go move there then. Might as well though, would rather enjoy life with others living then with others losing life! We see it everyday here in the US, no its not real they tell you.

What is more important? The dollar or people? Even next week another Country will declare that the US dollar is useless, has no value, and will not accept it anymore. If that happens, the Western World Will be in Desperation!

Not so 'far fetched"... There are many, many other similar theories on the net. How about some more 'wood on the fire'?!!

I am well past 65 and I have heard the phrase "Hell on earth" on many occasions, during my adult life. Didn't think about it much till a couple of years ago when I started getting myself 'educated' on reality... and being able to SEE.

Today, we have the 1% elite running the government (Rothschild), 'owning' the food (Monsanto), 'owning' the water (Hershey) and the disappearance of the middle class. And, as soon as 'they' get rid of 90% of the poor (Agenda 21, Georgia Guide Stones), you will have the rich and the slaves. So, that's going to be pretty close to "Hell on earth" to quite a few people.

As for the 'religion' references... I don't think it's so much 'religion' as spirituality. Each and every person is 'spiritual'. When we each reach that 'high, perfect spiritual reality' we will all be inter-connected on that spiritual level.... think Gandhi - Tibetan monks - Buddha..... 'all knowing spirituality'. In order to reach 'Heaven' we need to attain great spiritual heights.... be able to totally let go of all the materialistic aspects of earth! Get rid of the 'Kardashians, that I-pad/phone, laptop... stop buying every thing the tv tells you to buy!

So, then what we have here on earth... lesson learning! You mess up in the spiritual world, you get sent to earth to learn some lessons!! Maybe we go thru lifetime after lifetime being sent back to earth... until we learn our lessons, whatever they may be... I would imagine they are different for each person... how to love... how to forgive... be kind... be giving... don't be selfish... don't be materialistic... don't lie, cheat, steal... et al.

Yep... and then comes our 'guards'! If we get out of line on earth... more 'Hell'... jail, prison, FEMA camps. More weeding out of the bad... if you don't learn your 'lessons' you get more 'Hell'! (Check out Police State USA)

Aliens, yep... they've been here LONG before 'we' got here. Heck, they probably played with DNA until they came up with Adam and Eve. With what scientists are doing with DNA today.... well... it's pretty scary!

So, don't 'make little' of your thoughts. We've ALL got something rolling around in our heads that will sound pretty far out for someone!

"Preppers"... most people think they are kooks. But, think about it.... what would YOU do if a winter storm blew out the power grid, in your town, for two weeks? A month? Two months? NO electricity, NO gas for that Corvette, NO heat for your house, NO food for your family. "Prepping" just makes sense.

So ya'll don't jump on this ole lady too hard! Just some thoughts and 'fuel for the fire' to keep the comments rolling! _javascript:icon('

Thanks!

Yes, but you cannot be totally healthy if you do not choose either the hermit or monastery life to keep the ones with ego behaviour (sometimes I even call it demonic) away from you do not get infected by their small mindedness.

I have experience what hell here feels like and I know a little bit of what the oneness with heaven feels like too. Since the ego demonic is allowed on this planet it is not a fully a divine place. It is disconnected from the rest and most humans are not allowed to know what exists beyond this place. If humanity change then the quarantine will be removed.

It's hell if we make it so, every day, depending on how selfish you are, or how willing to create happiness for those around you, you make heaven on earth or hell.

One is in hell, one is in heaven, one is sitting on a bench.

Again, I didn't say that WAS heaven - you're taking what I said out of context completely. I was working off of what a previous poster stated about it all depends on how YOU view the life you are given -- I was giving some minor examples not stating what I personally thought was a hell or heaven.
