There are thousands of destinies arround the world, however, only a few are usually promoted by the travel agencies and/or ariline companies. Now,
there are people from all over the planet here on ATS that may live in places most never heard about before.
It happens that most of these places have beautiful natural spots, monuments, hotels, restaurants and all kind of curiosities that have never been
promoted by any travel agency.
So, what I propose here is we "sell" each other reasons why we should visit other members home town/place. Talk about it, tell us a bit of its
history, clima,....post a picture(s) a vídeo(s).....
I`ll start with my home city - P. Varzim, Portugal
Ok, we have a nice beach, a Casino, a very nice clima during all year, good restaurants, sports facilities and a lot more. This used to be a fisherman
village and still is but people also dedicate themselves to agriculture and tourism.
....And I bet no one of you have heard of this place before, right ?
Here is a vídeo...
Will post more information if you find this thread interesting and useful

I'd love to contribute, unfortunately my home town is located in the middle of nowhere Canada. There used to be a bar there, but it burnt down about
13 years ago. There was this woman named Fluffy who used to frequent the bar, she'd take out her dentures for you...
Southern California is probably the biggest vacation draw of vacationers in the world.
The Asian's are coming in very big numbers, but Indian's are a close second.
The Pala Resort Casino is highly popular destination in eastern San Diego county...food is great there.
We got nothing here except nice beaches with clean water, reasonable prices, lots of trees and wildlife, and snowmobile trails. Nothing that anyone
would say is great, they want extravagance, there isn't much here.
Don't come up here to change this wilderness. If you want to come camping, that is a different story.
PHILADELPHIA .... Flyers Hockey or Eagles Football ... The Philadelphia Museum of Art ... The historic places like the Liberty Bell, Betsy Ross House,
Ben Franklins shop and grave, Tomb of the Unknown (Revolutionary War), The Philadelphia Mint, The US Constitution Center, Reading Terminal Market ...
Penns Landing (great in the summer) ... Ride the ferry across the Delaware River and pet a shark at the New Jersey Aquarium ... Ride the Duck through
the historic parts of the city .... The theatre district ... etc etc etc
That is cool, but I consider Philadelphia a major city making it a main destiny, so would you tell us about other spots and curiosities in
Philadelphia that are not in the main touristic routes ?
