Britain is on its way to becoming the Science Capital of the world. Prime Minister Tony Blair is launching a five year plan using Britain's Science
and technology skills in the already controversial Stem cell research. Stem cell research is opposed by pro-life campaigners.

The U.K will make advancement in Science and there are potential benefits for people with Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, and other diseases, but the
issue still remains very controversial, especially regarding life.
The National Institute for Biological Standards and Control (NIBSC) is host for the UK Stem Cell Bank.
