I work on security at night and I tend to watch the stars a lot. Tonight I look up and see this image. It's very bright, not moving at all and has been there for hours.

I don't want to say ufo but I don't know what it is.

The photo was taken with an iPhone 5

This is its location.

Or a planet. Venuns perhaps.

but generally, its a white speck of light against a black backdrop. Try giving it the bird and see if it responds to you.

Try signaling lights at it. Make sure you aren't communicating anything untoward or offensive. It might not end well.

So people don't have to click out to the link:

Well it certainly is a UFO, until someone can actually identify it.

I haven't seen anything like this previously, but I'm sure someone can assist you in identifying it.

You don't say where in the sky, and which direction and time. Jupiter is bright in the East right now.

I noticed some very bright stars in the sky the past couple of weeks. Maybe someone with better knowledge of astronomy could help.

Microsoft World Wide Telescope

I'm using it on my PC, it's simple but very powerful software, and it's free.

I have run some filters on it and enhanced it 1500 percent, converted the image to negative and embossed it, then unembossed it, and then I looked really closely at my pixels. From my asnalysis it is obviously some sort of alient technology controlled by some intelligence beyond our understanding and we should not disturb it.

I would assume from the pacman system.
