any1 still play diablo2 ?

im installing the game and im looking for anyone who wants to start a new character with me on battle.net

I'm sorry that I don't have time to hang on BattleNet, but I wanted to give you a shout out just to stand with you in solidarity and proclaim that, yes indeed, Diablo II LOD is the best game ever created. Next to Dwarf Fortress, that is, but it runs a very close second.

I actually haven't played D2 since Diablo 3 came out. But D2 remains one of my all time favorite games. Unfortunately I don't have much time to play either anymore.
Otherwise, I just might be willing to get back into it.

I'm one of those rare disadvantaged folk who never played it.. but funnily enough was trying to get hold of the game through nefarious means last week, but could not be arsed with the eventual hassle as i aint so computer savvy. I'm totally looking to see if i can get a cheap copy at a game shop in the next few weeks.

And i know i've missed out. I've been told, a few hundred times.

Diablo 2 is a very fun game. If you play the campaign, you will have hours of fun. But don't expect much if you plan on playing it online. The game is quite old now, and most people have moved on to the next thing. I am baffled that they (retailers) still try to charge $20 for the game given that it is so old in gaming standards. It's kind of like Warcraft 3- the price hasn't gone down in years, but hardly anyone plays it anymore.

I still play it occasionally but not online. I can't be bothered paying money month after month.

If you have not seen it try looking up 'plugy'

It is a plugin for D2, quite handy.

it goes all purple and pixelated and compatability mode doesnt help it.

diablo 2 is free online with battle.net, whell..

at least it used to be as far as i know.
