Contratulations to the winners, but I think every story is a winner.

Wow! Just...wow! I never expected to make first place in nonwriters, let alone the whole shebang. I'm truly honored and pleased that my work was so well received. I write just as much for the readers as I do for myself, if not moreso. I want to thank each and every one of you for making this possible. My story would be a worthless scrap of digital code floating around cyber space if it weren't for you guys. My triumph is because of you. Thank you.

But the train doesn't stop here. We still have more contests and opportunities to help hone each others' literary talents, so let's rock the forum! Oh captain, my captain, onward and upward!

All great stories, really. I took a bow out this month because I did win 2nd and 3rd place in the last two contests respectively, but now that a new contest is on, I'm thinking I'll jump into the fray once more.
