About half a million people died in Iraq as a result of war-related causes between the US-led invasion in 2003 and mid-2011, an academic study suggests

Get real. Anyone who has ever studied this conflict knows that the war turned around when Iraq's tribal leaders switched sides and joined the collocation after getting pressure to rid Iraq of al-qedia and there random bloodthirsty butchery of anyone who didn't agree with them-including Muslim women and children.
Anyone who says things like 'Saddam was OUR puppet, installed and propped up by us until he wasn't anymore' is trivialized and ignored as obviously they have never studied the conflict other than at wracked out truther sites.

Yeah al jazeera is a non biased source right? Seriously th eofficial death toll is kept by iraqi body count. They get their Official records FROM THE GOVERNMENT OF IRAQ. Al jazeera is oppossed to the new government there. The death toll COMBINED is mostly thanks to the Attacks on the public with car bombs and intentionally being in crowds of civilians when attacking Soldiers. Also A casualty is not always a KIA or death either.
I've studied the fiasco that is/was Iraq well beyond "truther" sites and the turning of the tide wasnt because tribal leaders just decided not to play with al Qaeda.
