Hope this hasn`t been posted yet and this is the right forum for it. If not please move or delete.

A "DIY cyborg" has a surgically implanted chip that reads his body temperature and delivers the data to a mobile device. Warning: his subcutaneous sensor might make your own skin crawl

Wow, I think this is the kind of sickness that could take us into the future !

It`s crazy to have an implant of that size under our skin. On the other hand it might be very useful and helpful in the future when this technology is well developed. But of course it can also be dangerous if not used for good purposes.

Thats quite amazing, But it looks a little large, and i guess it will have to be replaced after a while.

He should have had an A/C plug in point to recharge it too!

Wonder what the whole body moding guys will think of to implant next, Maybe warning lights for illness, blood pressure etc, Could have some good medical uses in time (but it would have to be made smaller)

Not for me tho!

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think that cybernetic organism or "cyborg" is no good. I mean, yeah, It can enhance the body, makes us live longer etc. but, even if it is sad, we are meant to die one day or another.
I don't know if there's a life after, but 1 thing I'm sure is that I don't want to live THAT long!! That man speaks of thousand years (I know the technology is not there yet)
I'm only 29 and god I don't wanna reach 90...
And, should we not let life do his own things??
I don't have any problem with someone who have a leg prosthesis, or anything like that, but merging the complex human body with electronic is, IMO going against nature...
