This kind of attitude hits very closely to home on the site. Without pointing any fingers there was a discussion about photographers who take pictures of children. It was said that the parents are going to deliver some justice themselves and the police is going to look the other way. I've been targeted by such idiocy and I wouldn't take any of it. Too bad that some people are not able to stand in their own defense.

I doubt it - we really don't have that much of a "race issue" here in the UK and it is clear the motive for the attack was the victim being wrongly accused of being a paedophile by two moronic bottom-feeders, not the fact he was a little bit brown..

Indeed - with a bit of digging, I can turf up a dozen threads where people have already tried the "suspect" in whatever "crime" the thread was about before the Police have even thought about filing charges, much less actually investigated it. I am usually the one getting it in the neck for asking for calm and awaiting the results of the investigation from all the sanctimonious freaks calling for that person to have all manner of things done to them.

It's dangerous being into photography these days. People get all confrontational and aggressive when they see someone snapping pictures.

The crazy thing about all this is, people get all mad about someone taking pics, but they themselves are under constant surveillance from all the CCTV cams and all that lovely crap. They could care less about it. Put a face behind that camera and unless he has a badge you can bet someone will get pissed. It's almost like they've been programmed to react that way.

I get that the guy was wrongly accused of being a pedophile - but maybe the "morons" claims had more credibility in the community because he was apparently Muslim. Seems some Members of Parliament are accusing Muslim men of sexually abusing and exploiting white children. ???

Actually I would say this is what devolution looks like.

'This is England' 2013 - full of very very thick people, who are violent and nasty.

In reality they probably only account for about 5 % of the population but they account for about 95% of the damage.

This is a country where you get 3 years if you are lucky for murder - and if you chastise a little thug you get arrested as poor Bijan Ebrahimi discovered.

If you actually harm / hurty someone - all the sympathy of the courts and police are with the accused - not the victim.

Giving the perpetrators life (that is the problem) They took a innocent life. and as such their Innocent mistake should result in their own innocent lives being forfeited.

Just giving them life doesn't encourage others to think before they act .. Simply drag them into the street, beat them till they are almost unconscious , set fire to them and televise that with the simple addendum "Taking Justice into your hands and getting it wrong will result in they same harsh punishment being deal out to you .." trust me , if more people stopped to think about what would happen if [what they where about to do was done to them ] a lot more people would reconsider their actions more carefully and would at the very least make sure they where protected by CHECKING the facts first..."

A true example of getting lost in reaction/emotion without an ounce of critical thinking or awareness.

It's one of the biggest enemies of real human progress IMO.

I feel an air similar to this one incident overtaking the world - let alone this one country.

An air of insanity and no quiet space.

This is the product of a society where people are not taught to think critically but are rather encouraged to think with emotion. Emotional people are much easier to lead and manipulate, and they are not capable of governing themselves. Thus, they look to government to lead and govern them. This is why our culture and our media and our schools have been so heavy into social education and engineering. They are teaching our children how to be emotional beings first and thinking beings second, if at all.

This is the dark side of that equation.

Just for another example of this. Here's another man who burned to death in a crowd. They stood around and mostly ignored him or cheered or filmed him burning. Only a few had the presence of mind to think he might actually be in serious, life-threatening danger. This is mob mentality of another sort.

THE REASON SO MANY PEOPLE THINK mj was a ped is because he was accused so many times but every time he either paid off the parents and made them sign a nondisclosure agreement or the witnesses to it claimed they could not testify because they had signed a nondisclosure agreement upon being employed by mr jackson . how a group of judges in california could allow a witness to not testify in a criminal or civil hearing by claiming that i don't know.
