Letters Found at Coffee Shop Prove the Dangers of Time Travel

Hello ATS'ers!

I have come across something very interesting and it just makes my mind ponder. Of course i could just be a Hoax and that someone has written all these themselves just for a little joke, but then on the other hand... What if this Cafe is a centre meeting point for fellow Time Travelers just in case anything were to happen. I myself love reading things like this and find them facinating and mind boggling!!!

Hal and Dave are characters from "2001: A Space Odyssey". HAL was a computer. Dave was a human.

Caffeine is a dangerous drug. Too much of it will warp your mind.

So THAT'S where Dave went after seeing it was full of stars......

Well, one mystery of the ages answered!

Lol. I think the same person wrote all of the notes.

Especially since it is obvious on the "rescue" note, the attempt to disguise the handwriting is obvious. Just check out all of the "a"'s. Some of them are styled like the typefont "a", while others are styled like a circle with a line on the right. No one changes their letters like that multiple times, if at all, while writing.

Other than that, on a scale of 1-10 on funny, mmm not so much. I give it a 2 for originality.

I think it's serious. Maybe time travelers chose coffee shops because it won't be coffee for humans in the future.

Well, if they're traveling for the coffee they should opt for better coffee. Most cafes suck at what they do.

For the record I actually switch between my writing like that... I tend to switch my a's and 7's quite a bit. I also switch between lower and upper case and cursive versus regular print as well.

On topic however, I do agree with you. :-) I don't see how these could be real. How could the grand kid have written the letter if they couldn't exist because of the original time travel preformed by the grand parent? Ok I've gone and given myself a headache now.

Just so you know, in the future, people do not write information down. These people from the future had to actually learn to speak with their mouths and write on paper. Much different in the future. I was able to project my mind I to the future, where I witnessed this first hand- but my mental abilities are not powerful enough to stay longer than days at a time.
