Could this be a ghost?

pic was taken @ a diner in south africa ,unfort with no flash ,& i know you experts can make shadows / shades and so forth better ,i do not know how to do that..but would LOVE to know if this is the real thing.

this was on a ghost tour to haunted places where pic was captured ,please if anyone can make this a better quality & explanation i would appreciate it so much...thx

What I see in this picture is a camera that is steady and is about to take a snap w/o the flash, when all of a sudden, some dumb blonde in a ponytail doesn't see the person about to snap the shot and step into the picture at the last second.

Looks like a blonde in a sweater with a ponytail....although she may not have stepped into the picture, might have been standing there fo the picture and moved as the picture was snapped. Because of no flash, the image of her moving blurred.

I am not a professional cameraman...but I did sleep in a Holiday Inn last night.

Maybe that's why the home-made costumes look so real!

A few points strike me as odd:

1) This was on a ghost tour to haunted places. So ah...they pose for a pic when people come around?
2) The subject matter is not the ghosts, they're off to the right. Did the person take a bunch of random photos hoping something would show up? Was the staircase so beautiful they had to take a picture without flash?
3) Is that a shadow on the wall to the right of the 'ghost'? And also on it's back?

I think the answers may be transparent...oh wait, they're not even translucent! Hehe, sorry. Seriously, can't say they're not real, but it doesn't seem to fit with any other viable ghost pics I've seen.

I don't think so. obviously there was a dim light source behind the cameraman. there are shadows on the walls of the stair railing and yellow reflection on the wood. look at the "ghost" it also reflects the light.

that probably is a ghost but why? why would ghost or what i like to call them, people haunt a tired old place like that? i dont think a good person would haunt anything. maybe a person who found out in the 2nd earth realm or afterlife that they were going to hell would come back to earth to spook the hell out of people simpily because there is nothing else to do but maybe there is and maybe its fun to scare people.

I would like to see the render for this.. I am a 3d artist and I dont reconize this work...

I would like to see the artist who did this, in an artistic seeing...

Also about the image, this can be done easily, u set the camera on a tripod, most digital cameras from say 3.2 megapixel and down look crappy in this way, providing there is not flash... anyway set the camera down and have someone walk in front of it and it will show some kinda ghost effect kinda like this...

and most cameras look crappy in the lighting sorta like this also... I will do tests and show you guys later if needbe.

I should have said i did not take the picture ,cause if i was @ the scene i would prob had felt something if it was present ,all i asked was people opinions and not sarcasm gm0n3y ,i did not believe the pic but i know people who was there when the photo was taken ,so i said i would post it on ATS & see what others think...app all i am getting is sarcasm
