I thought maybe I should post a report on Halloween this year.

- Not so many hot MILFs this year.
- More Chinese candy in the haul.
- Not as much chocolate.
- My kids got extra candy by singing, 'Trick or treat, smell my feet' including the 'pull down your underwear' line, Broadway style.

We had a great Halloween!

Bah, didn't have that many kids this year. I blame it on the parents.
Taking the fun out of Halloween.

Oh dear lord. Reread your OP. And the title of your thread. After all your ranting about dressed up adults and pedophiles with candy bowls, now it's because a car jumped a curb and killed your friends, what 60 years ago?

You hate the fact children are having fun. You openly disparage your own nephew on the internet, class act that is. I guess I could say I hate camping, swimming and riding in cars, all of which were involved in the deaths of friends at some point. But that would be stupid.

Some day you might realize that all that anger and hatred is something you choose to feel. Something you allow to continue to make you unhappy. You make a conscious choice to be the way you are. Good luck in life.

No, I don't know you - just what you write about yourself. Based on this thread I could surmise there are about 800 other reasons you hate a lot of things. You must be the life of the party. Can't wait for your hatred of Christmas thread. I'm sure it will be mucho self important and how you somehow got the short stick when the magical angry fairy came to town looking for a victim. Boo fricken hoo.

Halloween has only recently been commercialised and celebrated in England.

But it's still pretty much a non-event...blink and you'll miss it.

I like it because there's usually a half-decent horror flick to watch.

Trick or Treat has only come from the US in the last 20 years or so, but most kids can't be bothered.

The main celebration at this time of year is Bonfire Night (November 5). The celebration of the gory execution of someone who tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament in the 17th century.

Nowadays, he'd be a national hero.

It was a rant. Glad you took it so serious, being all Grown up and all. Of all that replied to the RANT you by far were the most serious and the most nasty towards me. Can't wait till my Christmas RANT.......it will be epic. I do hope you had a great time tonight. I know I did, handed out some candy while I was visiting my sister.....Made sure all the lil trick or treaters with paper bags...got a nice ICE CUBE in their bag.....ten house's down and they wonder where all the treats went. ROTFL.....Yea, I hate Halloween and all that goes with it. Observation: Not a single person asked me WHY I dont like Halloween, not a single one...just bashed me for my RANT. Yea lets all DENY SOME IGNORANCE.

I know it was a rant. Did you not see the last line? Defensive much???

How was I nasty?! Haha again, defensive much? You don't even know nasty from me, if you want I can be nasty it that is what you prefer.

I found your rant to be quite funny and if you too my comment as nasty that is all on you and how you see things, maybe you shouldn't take the comments so seriously.

Well maybe you should have stated WHY you hate Halloween in your rant.

I hate Christmas because it's a greedy materialistic holiday. Most people only care about what you will get them, that is why I hate Christmas.

Why do you hate Halloween.

Sorry it took so long to reply, been busy taking my Halloween decor down

Also sorry you took my comment the wrong way it wasn't meant to be a negative one. I actually liked your rant and thought it was funny. I know many who dislike Halloween just like you.

Ice? That is a good one..

As for my night we had one trick or treater, just one.

Every day in society with everyone I come into contact with is a halloween.

The biggest lie that anybody ever told was to say that they care.

Everybody in the world hates me,

and everybody in the world wants to see me fail.

For no reason.

There is no logical reason. They are just stupid, ignorant, in their ego, such a shame.

The only thing that annoys me slightly is how Americanised the U.K is becoming, halloween never used to be the event it is now and it's popularity came from the U.S. It's not just halloween of course, these days we don't call schools for older kids ''senior schools' or ''secondary schools'' anymore, they're called 'high schools' and we never used to have friggin 'prom nights' either, now you have to fork out for a tuxedo or a ball gown all for the sake of a single night. I don't blame the U.S for this at all, it's the natives of my country that have made all this so by jumping on the band wagon. High fives? the word cool? Malls? Awesome? e.c.t All common place words here now. You see people with those big baggy arsed jeans on with the waist down past the arse crack which originated from the 'hood' yet the people wearing them don't even realise people in the hood wore that stuff originally because they're 'hand me downs' because they were poor, how the hell did that become a fashion statement? Where's our originality gone? We should be creating our own styles and terms.
