It's nice to know that there are other people out there that share the same traits as me.

Ok... so i read the 'requirements' to be an Indigo... and i fit all but one... so where does it go from here?

The only time i've ever seen an Indigo was on a tv show, and she could speak in some language i'd never heard, and said that if you were one you would understand her. I didn't understand it one bit, so i guess i'm not one.

Well let's see I've skimmed around 6 pages worth of this and you stated early on that the Indigos are against the NWO? Can I ask what if some of these Indigos think the NWO is good?
Also I don't consider myself an Indigo....I'm more of a Sage.
What sounds better Indigo child or Sage mage!? I think we all know the answer to that one.

Haha.

I don't like this whole business of labeling people based on some flimsy concept like Indigo. Every person I'm sure has some "Indigo" trait and I can be fairly certain no "Indigo Child" fits every parameter to be called an Indigo.

I understand it's fun, but these are people, you can't just call them "Indigo" because they act a certain way.

All I would like to say is Thank you Indigo. I have been told I have the characteristics of being an Indigo Child but never really understood what that meant. Thank you for taking the time to clarify. You have made my day.

Whenever I saw the words "indigo child" i thought it was some crazy baloney, but just now I read what its all about and im surprised because I fit the descriptions. Dont know if we are actually all that special, perhaps just rare people... dont know about the whole 'next evolutionary step' or superhuman stuff...

Indigo_Child, are you still around this forum?

The indigos seem to be a great description of some of Esoteric Teacher's posts as well right?

I for one consider myself equal to everyone and everything in the world. We are all here sharing our existence and must treat it as such; a cohabitation.

Interestingly enough, I found the links IC posted on page one through a search engine a few days ago and found this post today...Spirit has been guiding me closer and closer to my real truth and the Crystals/Indigos truly resonant within my soul. We have to remember the term "soul" does not even explain our whole realitiy. The Great Spirit is within everything (Holy Spirit, Higher Self), but remember not everything has the same connection with their Higher Self.

We must treat every living thing as our equal. Life is precious, death is not a necessity...

With true love, true light, peace and serenity,

biggie smalls

I have read the Indigo traits and I think an alternative description for an Indigo child would be an arrogant child.

Traits of someone so young who thinks they better than all others?
Christ I can remember when I was younger many years ago there were children that would fit the description, I believe at one stage I did. But we grow up. We realise if we don't wait in the queue someone with a blade may slash you. Difficulty with authority you do jail time.

Personally I can see these traits being expressed by any self thought of "exclusive" group. It sounds like a label to excuse anti social states of mind.

Your average paedophile could use these type of excuses in defence of their behaviour.

If being different to the norm makes you special then paedies are by this definition special.

I used to have respect for Doreen Virtue and would have loved to have had a good time with her...then I read her Indigo crap. That stopped my big toe swelling.

I dont know if you guys know chris storm or not but , He has an indigo connection site set up called www.mission-indigo.com .

Alot of indigos and non-indigo's belive that , indigo's have some thing to do with the whole 2012 thing.

And if the world dident have labels on people then we would have to explain every thing , And be like yeah that kid is a blah blah blah blah blah and it would take forever so we use labels to shorten our breaths.

D3C0D3 - whatever it means, they are out there looking for people.

"if everyones special than no ones special" - why would anyone want to draw any sort of attention to themselves in this day and age.

Its just a label.

From what I can see from the "traits" the only thing they can lead to is bad news...for example as they try to force their way to the front of the queue as someone pulls a blade!!

I feel it is a title to justify bad behaviour. ADD is label for naughty children in IMHO. I firmly believe that if you look deep enough into human behaviour that you could classify any behaviour differences as a disease or condition, everything from rape to murder and from phobias to total arrogance. Does that mean because it is an illness that we should accept it as OK? Adolf Hitler and his henchmen were just mentally ill and needed help and not persecution and prosecution? Paedophiles and their illness just need understanding, its not their fault so its OK?

InBritain we labeled certain people spastics, and their charity "The Spastics Society". When the word "Spastic" became a derogatory phrase they renamed it "Scope". Now thick, clumsy people are called "Scope" instead of "Spastic". Whats changed? Only the name.

Similarly, mentally deficient people have been called all kinds over the years, now they are called "Special". This has caused no end of humour at work with for example, the phrase "Special Forces".

So in our society, spastic, moron, mentally deficient, clumsy, physically and mentally disabled people are called "Special" I think that says it all

I see it as we are all different and individual so we are all special.
You so called "Indigo Children" will be sitting around on your butts as "Indigo Pensioners" still believing that you have a special place, calling or purpose. You have not IMHO.

I am in my teens and am confused. I think of things others don't even dream about. Something just feels wrong. Not just with life, not this world, but with reality in general. Something feels wrong.

I feel like I do have characteristics of Indigo, but so what? What now? What am I supposed to be accomplishing?

What comes next? Please tell me.

You won't want to hear this, but you have all the answers right there inside you. There is nothing wrong with asking question or others, but make sure the conclusions you make are yours alone. Don't let people think for you. You know you have that intuition, that inner guide that is never wrong and I am not talking about your logical mind, but the gut feeling.

What makes you happy? concentrate on things that make you feel wonderful inside and you will find your way, even if it is something very small.

Life is what we make it and how your make it will attract like minded people.

Thanks, that kind of does help. I still can't let that feeling go that there is something wrong go. Maybe it's just a phase.

Okay, so you're all indigos...now what...how are you gonna save the world?

Oh wait, thats right you can't, you're all too busy, drowning in your own self-arrogance and pride. Seriously people, don't wait 5 years til now, thats the most retarded things I've heard of. Why don't you guys trying to help out the world now?

I don't know maybe, stop playing WoW first of all, and work at a soup kitchen or a children's hospital, go read books to children at a local library. Oh wait, I forgot as well you're all too good for that, because you're powers are far more greater than that. Step up and take action.

Why I'm so sketchy about people who claim their indigos are they don't even know their abilities, let alone, how they will save or contribute to the world. Everyone, just say well we have to teach the world, when the time come?

When will that happen? Why not teach us now? You're suppose to be borned with reincarnated memories and unique traits...but nope, see none.

Don't get me wrong, I believe they're some indigos out there, some of you aren't one. But that doesn't make you role in life any less significance. I know we want to play heroes, but there is more than one way to be a hero. Teach a kid how to read, spending time with your children, working at a soup kitchen, becoming an activist. I don't blame some of the kids, but man a guy in his 20's and 30's with nothing better, thats really sad.

Ironically I do play WoW, but that is besides the point. You are right in many respects. Instead of sitting in this forum, people can be doing so much more (that goes for you two, skyblue). I do help out in my community. I help the chuch and do mission trips and do trash cleanups. Although I don't know if I am indigo, people that claim to be should take action.
