Hi everyone.im from fife on the east coast of Scotland

Oh wow! Just bloody wow! Look at all this.....*opens second window to make sure she doesn't miss anyone*.

First, may I suggest that if you haven't already done so, that you raise a Union Flag (it's only a union jack if you're out at sea and I really don't think there are members out there unless you live on a boat). This is so the thread will send a signal to all the others that haven't come out of the closet yet or haven't spotted the thread.
Each flag will represent each and every one of you.

The next thing I would like to say is thank you VoidHawk for for all your hard work on plotting us all. Excellent idea. I had thought before I looked at the thread that I should start a list of members names, and indeed I shall now!

@ crzayfool....hope your wife found those shoes!

I've had a thought about meet ups....is it possible to arrange various meet up spots, but on the same day, and through the use of t'internet and its technology do that thing I believe is called skype? Just a thought seeing as there are a few that are keen on the idea. Even if we have a few smaller meet ups initially around this fair isle, we can work up to the great BBQ jamboree for next year.

Also, how would it be if we kept this thread for new Brit intros, and start a separate one which could act as a library of all the Brit based threads we start?

Just a couple of ideas I've mulled over my first brew....god knows what I'll come up with now I've started my second

Please keep mapping VoidHawk.....it's good to have a 'hawks'eye visual of where we all are!

Oh, and please don't forget to raise YOUR flag.....I started this thread for US.

Good idea with the thread Jane - often wondered how many Brits on the site. From sunny Bristol myself - well it is at the moment but it was grey and precipitating five minutes a go, the clouds are moving fast in the breeze. My chap just said some people were putting bins and recycling out for collection tomorrow - do they think it will be still there?

Could be fun to meet up with some of you guys.......but what if we spot a troll?

Here's a thought, how's about we all meet up at Cornbury music festival ? They only festival with clean toilets and decent showers for the ladies. (Us men will be too busy drinking to shower)

Make a weekend of it with music thrown in ?

Camping/Minifest; Rural, late spring to early autumn. I would personally favour Lundy. Sailing from Ilfracombe on the MS Oldenburg (A flat bottomed craft that rolls like a barrel even in a moderate breeze, colloquially known as the Oldandbuggered, seasickness pills required).

Tea and Sticky's; Anytime anywhere.

Must sign off to harvest Butternut Squash Crop before the coming Storm destroys civilisation.
