Breaking: Shots fired at Millington, TN Naval Base

I hope it's nothing too serious but it is just now breaking on Twitter!

(Millington, TN) There are reports of at least two people who have been shot in Millington.
Emergency crews are responding to 5650 Attu which is listed as the Army National Guard recruiting center.
A shelter in place order has been given on the base.
Multiple ambulances are on the scene.

According to police, it is suspected that an employee who was relieved of duty went to their car and started shooting. The shooter is in custody.

Wonder how much of the base is private contractors. There are articles about the base being empty during the shut down. HP might be in trouble again.

We need to start having a serious discussion about banning naval bases.

See this is what a workplace violence looks like. "The suspect is in custody" - not dead and can tell no tales as in all the other incidence. There aren't 12 people plus the shooter dead as in all the other incidence.

Wow...I was stationed there in early 1986 for A school after boot camp.It was a pretty nice place back then.I'm surprised any shooting would occur there because(if I'm not mistaken)the base is mostly for schooling.

The Navy base in Millington, Tenn., was in lockdown Thursday afternoon after three National Guardsmen got into a fight nearby, and the argument led to gunfire.

According to a U.S. military official, the men got into the altercation at the National Guard Armory in Millington and one pulled a small handgun. One guardsman was shot in the foot and the other in the leg, the official said.

I've also read that the suspect was subdued by other National-Guardsman before police arrived on the scene.

It's good to know they underwent successful training, and stopped him before things got worse. But based on the injuries to the victims, it sounds to me like this was more of a personal vendetta and the gunman was trying to prove a point. I would say; him being in the Nation Guard, he's probably a little more accurate than that.

Why is it that every news I hear about shooting is from the US of A maybe because most of the PTB evil entities are targeting your country. And America was once known to be the leader of the pack where other countries followed suit. Nowadays the leader country has not yet shown its ugly face. The ones who built the good US of A are the ones who are destroying her. So the question is who will be the next big leader country? TPTB have used USA for their agenda and its time to get out of dodge guys and girls.
