I have never seen this video before. Its sad that in this day and age that photographic and even video graphic "evidence" is null and void. I could film a alien, bigfoot, etc..on my front porch drinking coffee but who would believe it?

Hm, how can the large alien head pass through the tight turtleneck?

How come their fragile neck doesn't break under the weight of their large head, couple with Earth's strong gravitational field?

Just my sherlock side.

I wonder how they pull those turtle neck tops over those big heads?maybe they zip up from behind.

I think it's the other way around.

The rendition of the 'KGB Alien' film linked from this thread seems very dark. Some versions have been gone over and lightened, which helps in viewing details. Watching the being blink, I have an impression of organic movement, rather than that of an artificial humanoid model.
Yes, there has been a good deal of debunking activity around this film. Some part of it, taken from a moving vehicle seems to be of doubtful authenticity. Its not clear to me that the authenticity of the rest of the film has been successfully refuted.
The film appears rather poor in quality. It seems possible that it is a multi-generation copy of the original film. Each stage of copying a copy would degrade the picture quality, making dark areas darker and light areas lighter.

Quoting this post because gortex is completely correct.

gortex
Because it is fake , it's footage from Ivan 0135 who's other clips were posted here a year or so ago and comprehensively debunked .
It's well done but none the less fake .

Orginal hoax footage

So I'm thinking that a video available on youtube for over 2 years hasn't been "smuggled" out of anywhere. (Except maybe the hoax bin.)

I think I saw this film four years ago on You tube. The eye blinking is very interesting. You have
to wonder how they hold their big heads up in our gravity here on Earth. I am disturbed the images
are not in better focus. In 1960 they probably used super 8 to film them if it is real documentary. Super 8
does have better focus abilities than we are seeing. Super 8 might be the reason for black and white film which was popular in the 1960s and 1970s. I would not be so quick to say hoax. It is a pretty interesting film clip. Who knows?

Aliens in long sleeve shirts...Cool!..Im gonna dig mine out just reminded me!..I dont believe any videos would ever get smuggled out. Especially from The Old Republic!!!!

Well it was actually the opposite, when the break up happened scientists and research came out of the woodwork. Everything was for sale. You could drive right up to silos and other remote nuclear storage facilities, it was insane. Lots of stuff came out and allot of countries picked up technology and scientists and science they would never had the chance for otherwise.

Sixty minutes did story on some of it, Google it and you should find the episode, pretty scary actually lol.

Exactly, my friend. It's the blinking that makes me question all those people posting "HOOOOOOAX" without providing a shred of evidence to back up their claim.

I'm not saying this video ISN'T a hoax; it very well could be. I haven't looked into it enough myself to make such a statement.

However, for me, the movement of the beings appears quite real. Yes, it could just be people in costume...but their costumes also blink in an extremely real-looking way??

IMHO, they either had some cool costume tech back in the day (animatronics wasn't developed until the early 60's, so I'd imagine those first versions would be quite crude), or it's a recent video made to look old, OR it's exactly what it claims to be.

Personally, I hope it's the latter but I know I don't have enough evidence to make the call either way.

I posted evidence on page one too show it's fake , here's a more in depth look at the video and those who were probably behind it ...ATS gets name checked in this one .

Hows that ?

I used to assume Ewoks were just little people in costumes, but now I'm not so sure.

Ummm wow.such poor quality . My parents had a movie camera in the 60s and it took way better pictures than this. Guess Russian tech wasn't very good in the 60s. I don't know but looks fake to me. If there are so many breeds of aliens visiting this planet why are all the photos of the Grey's? That's the only one you ever see pictures of. Maybe the others are camera shy.???

This video was published years ago, it's not new. And without posting a link to get in trouble, I think the OP has seen the thread on Godlikeproductions first, and decided to post it here...

Color film was way more expensive than b&w was. If you have family photo albums from the time frame you will notice that most of them were b&w. Color became the preferred medium in the late sixties with the invention of instamatic cameras. That's the ones with the film cartridge. Before that it was all roll film tbat needed to be loaded into the camera by hand and in a dark place to avoid exposure of the film. The instamatic was all color and finally made the color photo affordable. And you could load the camera in broad daylight without worry of exposure. Not to be confused with the Polaroid camera which we thought was the coolest thing back then. For you youngsters it used to be you had to take your film to a photo shop for developing ( who remembers those little photomat booths in parking lots ?) The Polaroid developed the film instantly as you watched. They popped out of the camera as a little white square that changed before your eyes. End camera history lesson lol.

The video has been around for a few years and is known as the 'Skinny Bob' video. The arguments against its authenticity are convincing enough - deliberate blurriness, excessive darkness to cover up telltale signs etc. However, many people comment on how real and convincing the being is. Those who debunk it say that it is very well done. So how do you explain it? Just for the sake of throwing a spanner in the works here's my Paranoid Hypothesis-

Paranoid Hypothesis - Version #1:

This is a doctored version of REAL footage made with a cine camera. It was digitally doctored so that people would be able to debunk it. In this way the people that released it are telling us something without committing themselves. The real footage is too good to release so they did a degraded version to test the waters. That explains why it looks so real...

Well, I told you it's paranoid...
