Your post reminded me ATS can be a community, not just a forum, so i got me a new account!

And then ATS Staff helped me recover my old account!

I have to ask, as I'm probably dense. Either that or I truly don't know. Probably both, but anyway, what the hell is a pork pie?

You guys did good, glad you met as you seem to get along rather well here on ATS. If anyone wanted to come to my city and meet I'd think they were off their rocker. Seriously, who would want to come to Las Vegas and hang out with me, as I'm pretty boring unless you want to talk about obscure rock and roll. I don't even like this city so I'm a horrible guide.

You guys are lucky to know each other. The few people I know are the dumbest and most supremely screwed up people, not even worthy of the term friends. Not even acquaintances, they are just pains in my rear end. Kudos to the both of you.

A pork pie
is pretty much what it says on tin. It's a shortcrust
pastry pie where the pork is minced and various
spices are added ( differs ftom maker to maker)

They are then filled with a sort of pork jelly to fill
the gaps left to cool and there you go.

Bloody lovely. I'll post a pic when I get home later

And I'd hang out with you, nothing like a beer and some ATS chat

A yes... sodding French keyboards and people who have a lack of tolerance... or should i say patience...

My poor labrador is still suffering after I had to remove that keyboard from his bum by the way Cody!

Hi Rod thanks for the piccie of the pie

I'm home now and so the saga continues

Obviously Rod and I were like two schoolboys that had found a pornographic magazine in a hedge (If remember them) and desperately wanted to post on ATS.

We'd introduced the girls and stayed a polite amount of time (about 15 seconds) and ran to the laptop to post.

Rod being the gent he is offered me to post first and I glady accepted.

For those of you that don't know, Rod has an evil streak running through him.

Now I don't know if you've ever seen a french keyboard but I faced with this


So I looked at it and thought no big deal I can deal with that


It took about 10 minutes before I looked like this


and was doing this


So in fear of his dog's life Rod came over to help me out

Firstly, just to set the story straight and to calm poor Jacy's concerns for my Labrador... it wasn't the Labrador Jacy :



If my memory serves me right, didn't we say that one of us would also write a thread about why porngraphic magazines seem to be found in hedges when you are a schoolboy?

There must be a magic pornographic magazine hedge fairy methinks!

Anyways, after much prodding, jabbing and grumbling, Cody managed with his one finger to type out a post in the coffee thread only to notice when he had stopped looking at the keyboard that all of his letters were scrambled up and completely unreadable... and we hadn't even started drinking yet i believe?

So, in the end, i had to type in Codys thread starting off with "This is Rod here"... i think some people were a little confused at first...

But, bless his little cotton socks... :



Cody managed to fathom out how to use the AZERTY keyboard



and it was great fun watching Mrs C trying to peel him away from it for the rest of the evening.

Have i forgotten anything Cody or do you want to add anything else before we go castle visiting?
