This is for a friend of mine who recently left his woman (also a good friend of mine) for what amounts to no reason, and showed signs of loosing touch with certain aspects of reality previous to doing so. Its been heartbreaking watching these two people sundered apart, because I love them both so very dearly. I have known them both for over ten years, and I never thought to see their relationship implode in such a manner. There was no cheating, no lying, no massive conflict of interests. I cannot understand it. More troubling, since he moved out I have not heard a peep from him.

But ever since he started acting detached, I have not been able to communicate with him normally anyway. I used to be able to see into his very SOUL, but it hasn't been that way for a while. He's like a brother to me, and I feel lost.

I know how you feel. So hard to be helpless and worse to not be able to share it with your friend, cause your friend is the problem. Heart goes out to you.
