You know, I may have it out for exposing Obama, but just so you know, there will be a light at the end of the tunnel when it is all done . Contrary
to what you see here, I am a cheerful person that enjoys my every waking moment, and watching the idiosyncrasies of life. People have often asked me,
if I have ever not gotten my way in life. And I would think hard, get a shocked look on my face, and say no. Others have commented that I have a
rabbits foot up my arse.
Tonight at work I was thinking hard about the loss of constitutional rights in the US due to the present administration. I was almost a tidge sad
over this too. But the idiosyncrasies in life always put me back on track and land a smile on my face. You really do need to notice and appreciate
the small things in life.
Before work today, it was beautiful out, so I opened the door to take my cats out. But when I got outside I noticed my neighbor mowing the lawn.
Groan... Only one of my cats would go outside with the sound of the mower. And I stood there holding the door pleading with my cats to join me for
their fresh air. Grrr... All of a sudden the mower sounds stopped and my cats came outside with me. Ok so my neighbors mower broke, but fresh air
is very important to keep cats cheerful.
After work, I went to the casino since I had a $20 food comp that expired in 30 minutes. After picking up my food to take home, I went to the reward
club and had them credit my card with a small $10 enjoy book coupon. Then I went and got a free cup of coffee. Sat down in front of my favorite
machine with my $10 credit, and won $38. Now I wasn't there to actually gamble with my own money since it was late at night and I had to get home.
So I took my $38 and left.
Now this is the best part. I was walking to my car in the parking garage thinking , "you know what? El always gets her way". And America will be
the land of the free once more!" Just as I was thinking this, I dropped my cigarettes, and bent over to pick them up. As I looked up, I saw my
license plate and the first 3 letters are FRE. And at that moment I also reminisced about my last license plate, AMER.
I have only had 2 license plates in my lifetime and they were/are not vanity plates:
AMER FRE
This made me chuckle and also made me realize that maybe there is a plan for me that I am not aware of yet. And that maybe things will someday get a
lot better in the US. By the way, what I have told you here is 100% true, and it is these little things that give me much hope in a world gone wrong.
