Sandy Hook Demolition Team Sworn To Secrecy

I did a search and didn't find anything about this. So, I will give it a go.

NEWTOWN, Conn. — When the old Sandy Hook Elementary School is demolished, building materials will be pulverized on site and metal will be taken away and melted down in an effort to eliminate nearly every trace of the building where a gunman killed 26 people last December.

So, apparently it's not enough to just tear the school down and haul it away. It has to be "pulverized and melted down".

Contractors also will be required to sign confidentiality agreements and workers will guard the property’s perimeter to prevent onlookers from taking photographs or videos. The goal is to prevent exploitation of any remnants of the building, Newtown First Selectman E. Patricia Llodra said Tuesday. “We want to be absolutely certain to do everything we can to protect the privacy of the families and the Sandy Hook community,” she said. “We’re going to every possible length to eliminate any possibility that any artifacts from the building would be taken from the campus and … end up on eBay.”

They are eliminating evidence AND trying to keep workers from saying(publicly) what they see/don't see. All for the sake of the grieving Newton residents.

An adage my mom used to say comes to mind: if you have nothing to hide, then hide nothing.

Why all the secrecy when we supposedly know the official story? It does nothing but make it appear that something is being covered up.

Beyond that...why can't people be expected to death with death in a natural, healthy way? Do we want to teach our kids that the best way to deal with something tragic like Sandy Hook is to tear the school down and pretend it didn't happen? Just start over. Yes, it would be difficult, but they need to face that school. You have to conquer fears in order to move on.

I think this actually makes some sense, but doesn't go far enough. First, I totally understand the complete destruction of all material on-site. I know it may come as hard to believe (honestly) to some people, but there is a very sick and twisted sub-culture across the net that nearly worships spree and mass killers. "Memorabilia" and "collectibles" are traded like items at a Trek convention and it's enough to make me ill.

I can see why they want 0 chance of a bullet hole'ed wall section or ...who knows what else.. coming to center-piece some dark hearted collector's display.

I think my biggest issue in trying to erase the horror so many saw there is that it's not erasing anything but the physical structure the adults frame the memories inside. It isn't changing anything if the new facility is going over the footprint of the old.

The ...energy.. I believe echoes after an event of that severity and brutality doesn't fade in timelines we need worry about......and the new place, from what I understand, will be right on all of that. Short sighted 'feel good' thinking while missing the reason it 'feels good' to consider in the first place.

What I don't understand is why they are building a school where there is already one. I know that sounds cold, but time will heal the wounds for most, not all. I think of this as a waste of tax dollars and that a memorial should be put up instead of tearing down a perfectly good building.

But if they insist upon tearing it down, I would suggest making it a park instead of another school. Build the school elsewhere and rename it as well.

The school was built with tax money, correct? Why can't a citizen take a picture of the demolition. More government BS, making their own rules.

The contractors’ confidentiality agreements, which were first reported Monday by The News-Times of Danbury, forbid public discussion of the site as well as photographs or disclosure of any information about the building.

Really? Does it not strike anyone that maybe they are trying to hide the fact that the inside of the school may not look the way that the narrative says it should? I can't believe people can't see through this garbage, I guess every family that has ever had a child lost to a school shooting is wondering why they didn't get the same kind of over the top reverence. This is unprecedented!

I'm guessing the School District literally had a choice to make. Get a whole school of new teachers or get a new school.

I'm thinking about how the kids were likely massed for fear and protection...when point blank damage was done. This...to keep everything as general as possible of course.

I figure in the chaos afterward, many if not most adults working there ..saw that. Saw what had been done...and could they ever walk in those physical rooms again without seeing it or PTSD issues on the spot? I'm thinking not....

They just need to move off the footprint as well, not just change the wood and metal forming the buildings. Just my thinking.

It did happen!!!!!!!

Two of my friends lost their kids and my dear friend lost his wife......count it...that's three wakes and three funerals I attended.

Oh and the fact that I am a Firefighter one town next to Newtown I know a lot of the first responders that were there and some of them still have not returned to work for what they have seen.

The reason for the total destruction of the school is so no jerks can anything form the school and make money off it , like selling on E-Bay.

And to all that think it did not happen...E-Mail me come to Connecticut and I will give you a tour.

In my opinion, it doesn't even matter at this point. The public had it's window to demand answers to all of the highly legitimate questions concerning gross inconsistencies in nearly every single part of the official story that holds about as much water as a colander. What those answers would have revealed is speculative and controversial but I think extremely important to Americans.

The fact is, we will never know because those who wish to maintain political correctness and project an illusion of morality have swayed those who have seen through the thin veil of lies and taken notice to the blatant cover ups and who have wanted to speak out and demand real answers.

The truth will indeed set you free but it will never be given freely, you must seek it out, demand it and follow through while understanding those that have it already will actively and viciously fight to keep you from it. Knowledge is power and lack of knowledge is weakness, the world is wicked and it's no great feat to understand the evil that men do.

Why build on the same spot. Emotions are probably tied to the spot more than the the material of the building.

Did voters approve this spending or does the district under law have the right to do it without citizen input. No bonds needed,etc.

I understand that there are some serious whack-jobs out there. Could they not just tear it down with a secure perimeter? Have guards escort them to a place to dispose of the remnants? I guess the idea of it being all ground up on-site just doesn't sit well with me, for whatever reason. It's almost like they're destroying evidence right in front of us. More salt in the wound.

Do you take issue with the confidentiality agreements?

Sandy hoax was a fraud, but it was a fraud meant to be uncovered.
We are being educated and asked to look back on other frauds/hoaxes like 9/11, 7/7 etc.

We did demand answers, but we were told to wait for the official investigation, which we are now told we may never see the results...sigh.

Oh well, those with eyes to see will see.

Can you supply the names of the ones who were lost please?
Their identities will certainly need to be verified as so much fraud has already been uncovered
in this case.

From what I understand, the $50 million is in the form of a grant. It was voted on to accept the grant to build a new school.

That amount of money is insane for an elementary school. A town near where I grew up built a new high school that housed 2,000 kids. It is state-of-the-art(in-house bank, food court, AstroTurf football field, instant replay screens) and it wasn't even half that amount.

you see, one of my grandfathers was Sicilian, he was in the "construction business", and understood the importance of Omerta.

I think perhaps they have not released security camera footage to the general public because the general public has no damned justification to watch kids getting shot. And rightly so.

To leap from this to proof it didn't happen is gravely offensive to the grieving families and those who have been touched by the tragedy.

It gets expensive when you have to pay to melt down a school, and it's also expensive to get the "right" kind of contractors that will keep your secrets.

May I ask... Open or closed casket? Any pictures you can share?

Since you're right there, maybe you can take a picture of a bullet hole in a wall or blood anywhere inside the building. You can post it and be the first person with actual evidence of Sandy Hook.
