Abrahamic cult members only. It is demonstrable that God has to be one of us.

The wisdom of God and his will can only be expressed by the interpretation of men and women. All religionists know this as a fact as they, wisely to a tribal mind, --- follow a church representative.

All religionists know that at the top of their church hierarchy stands a man who says he knows the mind of God, --- and knows him to be real, --- and we better agree or out we go.

Jesus foretold that at the end of days he would return and the elect would choose between the various interpretations of Jesus and that that was how we would know who he really was.

Abrahamic religions of all stripes and flags, over 3,000 so I am told, are all trying to grow their shrinking tribes locally when what we should all be doing is fighting secular control of our world, the religious world, away from us globally.

Fellow religionists, where is our wisdom?

The end of days is of course a metaphor. The point being made is that a divided church cannot stand and whatever church you belong to is not doing as well as it could if we all decided to amalgamate, so to speak. A rapprochement brings us all more of the profits that tribalism can bring. That is the driving concept of world-wide systems.

We all seek that personal touch from God. We unfortunately all have to be satisfied with the lowly touch of man’s, --- unless unfortunate enough to actually be cursed by the touch of God’s consciousness. The best we can do then is at least have a say in whom we are to follow to insure that we can live with his, or her, interpretation of what we are supposed to be believing. His Jesus interpretation has to be at least close so as not to shame. Answers for question like; how many wives would Jesus allow you? , --- need to be dealt with.

I think it is time for all within the Abrahamic cults who bother with the churches and mosques should try to move them to modernity and unity to give what is required to challenge the huge Governments, --- with an equally huge Religion.

It is time I think to drop our inadequate inherited Jesus’ and have the prophesied election so that we as a group or tribe can at least give secular systems a decent challenge before we get melded into nothingness.

Do you agree?

Should we elect a new God, Allah, or whatever your particular cult calls God, --- to give secularism a modicum of a challenge?

Regards
DL

It is not insignificant differences which separate sects and religions.

That's all I have to say about that.

I second this. I'm lost. Was the post supposed to be a form of poetry or something?

Did you know that God does touch us? If you never experienced it, then perhaps you should ask Him. I still find it fascinating that people who have never known God still try to explain God in a way that makes sense to them, without ever knowing that God is so real.

I think it an unfortunate thing for people to not know the realness of God, they think no one else in the world has gone through moments of utter despair, and then at the last moment to acknowledge God and feel Him in those moments.

I think it unfortunate for people to never have truly believed in God and then condemn Him for not answering prayers, when God has answered prayers over and over again. We live in a world of uncertainty, death is constant with us, but we do know that this life has a purpose and an end. We choose to live with uncertainty at the same time attempting some type of recognition of an afterlife. It is the paradox of the human mind, to not accept death, but accept death nonetheless. We create our visions of what our afterlife will be like, some want to go to heaven to escape this world, some want to return to this world. We can this world a bad place to be and then attempt to come back. We believe in a place of reward, no matter how bad we have been and undeserving of a reward, but still want the reward.

We blame God for the failures of people, believing God to be mortal like we are, and yet denying that God is mortal. How can this paradox be? We pray to empty air, expecting the air to answer? We pray to idols expecting them to move, knowing we made them with our hands? We think we know God and then say we don't know God? The paradox of the human mind. We live like there's no tomorrow, but then say we will do such and such a thing tomorrow, and yet tomorrow never gets here, there's always another tomorrow, but we live like there is no tomorrow then blame God when tomorrow does finally get here. Paradox.

But if you don't know God, then don't think someone else has never known God. As the wise man said, don't judge another man until you have walked a mile in his shoes. Don't judge the other for saying they know God when you haven't lived their life. Maybe they do know God, but not the one you want?

Sorry Greatest I am .. I am of the opposite opinion. The last thing this world needs is yet another organized religion with a bunch of men in it telling everyone else what they should think or how they should act ... and claiming that power in the name of God makes it even worse.

There is no way that the Abrahamic religions can come together on anything .. heck, they can't even agree with each other in their own little sub-cults.

Muslims kill muslims (and Jews and Christians) because they don't worship exactly like them.
Jews have different sects within their ranks, each seriously badmouthing the others.
Lots of Christian groups think they are the only ones to 'get it right' and everyone else, other Christians included, will end up in hell because they don't worship exactly like them.

I wouldn't want any of them running the world.

Being of sound mind and body, I, AfterInfinity, do nominate the Invisible Flying Spaghetti Monster to be the next Lord of Lords, King of Kings, Alpha and Omega, beginning and end. This is my final word.

Ah yes, flying spaghetti monsters.
Do you realise that 24 of them could dance on the head of a pin ?
Some say 25 but that's just ridiculous ... (obviously).

Do you agree?
No.

I think that we should have government "by the people" as it says in the US Constitution.

The people who moved out of Europe and the UK to come to America had had enough of ecclesiastical government run by literal or virtual Popes.

A God that relies upon His creation for His own existence is a false God.

A God that expects us to describe itself to itself is overthinking our abilities to communicate with it, or neglected those crucial heavenly earbuds (in our initial matterform construct).

A God that thinks (as a no show parent) we could believe in a creator understands the terrible mental stress/faith place Mankind lives and so is either psyhopathic, sadistic or to be kind, an egomaniac.

A God that relies upon Its own existance (to live through its creations is not paying attention at all) and is negligent.

A False God/no God probably; just a grand system that is grinding away at itself and we are only a part of the grand design entropy/decay--stasis/growth, both as unwilling spectators and unfortunate participants.

It should have given us more skills, to enable us to OUTSMART IT.

I was raised to believe in the bible, now I left the faith becausr it was too controlling and judgmental, and I agree we should have a new God. A God called "love" who is patient and kind and holds no record of wrongdoings.

Looking up to such a God we can learn to care for and respect each other.

Is the Spaghetti noodle cut up or just one continuous strand, like a mobius strip. Potencial Flying Spaghetti Monster God would be weaker if a fork and knife was taken to it (fed to the highchair sitting 'denomination participants' Osiris style in 17 to the 100th parts). Not so much a Lord then and maybe able to retain an even footing.
