Interesting.

Does the price of gas there go up any, as a result?

I'm just waiting for some astutely observant person to notice the 'UFO' in the mid left of the picture you posted...

Interesting the site where the explosion happened seems to be in a straight line as the crow flies from Denver International Airport.

According to a former construction worker who allegedly took part in the construction of an underground section on the Denver International Airport (DIA) in the 1990′s a massive 2.5-3 mile long tunnel system exists in and around the DIA complex, says Stu Webb, whistleblower.

intellihub.com...

How far is Englewood to Denver International Airport

The driving distance from Denver International Airport to Englewood, Colorado is 31 miles / 50 km:

Could the gas explosion be a cover story for something happening in those tunnels?

The PanHandle Agencies are covered under one system, although it appears to be silent.

Colorado has been in the news a lot recently. Under attack from all sides, it seems.
Are these 'attacks' somehow symbolic?

Mork and Mindy was set in Colorado, wasn't it?

Holy cats, that's huge! Miraculous nobody seems to be dead.

I live in OK near the KS border -- but on the other side. You know you're out of touch when you get local news through ATS. :-)

Happened about 20 years ago here in NJ. 36 inch main ruptured next to apartment complex - I could see the fire
where I live, almost 30 miles away.

en.wikipedia.org...

Back during cold war Soviets depended on oil/gas sales to support economy. Pipeline needed to ship gas to
Western Europe required automated control systems to operate,

CIA got wind Soviets were attempting to covertly steal the required equipment - arranged to allow Soviets to
obtain the necessary equipment

But embedded a trojan in the control software to cause compressors and valves to overspeed to rupture
the pipeline

Result was largest non nuclear explosion seen...

So massive triggered US early warning satellites.....

Technically anything would be a straight line if we measure how the crow flies. But this is moot since we are speaking of Englewood, KS / Rosston, OK; not Englewood, CO.

That's a meaningless thing to say when you are talking about two points....

I haven't seen a mention of this at all on a "national cable news" channel.

I might have missed the brief mention or scrolling text, but not likely...

Aside from the tremendous force, dramatic accounts and potential for loss of life and devastation, what also concerns me about this is that just this morning, for the first time ever, I saw a guy using a special device checking our entire neighborhood for gas leaks. I asked him if there was a reported problem and he said no, that they check every five years. Which, five years seemed kind of random to me...It just made me wonder if something was up. That expanding Earth theory lingers in the back of my mind.…o_O

Same thing happened here in northeast Ohio about 2 1/2 years ago. People could see it from about 40+ miles away. This happens pretty frequently all over the US. Luckily there wasn't much around the break here but it did melt the siding on a nearby farmhouse. The flames were easily over 100 feet tall, and it sounded like a jet engine/train rumble. I can attest to the shock it caused. I was watching TV when I heard several explosions and the sky began to light up orange and yellow. It looked as if the sun was rising. I was fairly close (

I told all of ATS a few years ago to watch out for lots of 'Gas Explosions' . I don't know who listened, read or believed it but it has been occurring since I wrote that Thread!!

Although to be fair, it has been occurring since before you wrote it as well, heh.

True but I did say it would gradually get worse... we'd be hearing about it a lot more.

Several years ago I was driving along one night when an explosion like that happened about 15 miles away from me. I thought it was all over. The entire western sky lit up in an increasing brightness for several seconds. I thought a huge meteor crashed. #Natural gas #Pipes #Fire
