Maybe lately, not that I am an EDL supporter though, but in the beginning the EDL did none of that, while the UAF bussed in gangs of young Asians to
throw steel bars and bricks at them, if you like I can dig up
actual news reports of such things not blogs and unverified YouTube videos.
Both sides are full of idiots here, but the UAF want to stifle any attempt at protest which the EDL do have a right to do, despite what you or I might
think of them
Now, if any of them then break the law then they should be arrested and dealt with, but it cuts both ways. How many times have we seen Muslims with
placards calling for the beheading of all infidels, or death to our troops, or Sharia in the UK on
OUR streets. If that isn't "inciting racial
hatred" or what have you, then I don't know what is.
Basically, the EDL is the tip of the iceberg to how many feel the UK is going. As the tip, they are going to be the most right-wing, vociferous and
aggressive but you can put a good bet on that many in the UK do not like the creeping Islamification either, why do you think there is such a hot
topic at the moment about immigration?
Just because the left and PC brigade insist on burying their heads in the sand about this, it doesn't mean the problem is going to go away or that it
doesn't exist.
EDIT to add: I wonder just how many counter-protests you went to against the Sharia crowd were calling for our beheadings, forced conversions and what
have you? Probably none. You just want to campaign against the right-wing for ideological reasons, not actually look at the problem which has caused
their resurgence.
It is worth pointing out that those Islamic "protests" which I mention happened long before the first EDL march, yet you say they should be
punished?
