Hi....im new..ish! and a little annoyed .....(if i mention Elvis....am i blackballed?)

Been a funny week or so on ATS....been lurking for years ...singed up a couple of years back.

im into alot of 'Theories' but more into un facilitated thought and 'denying ignorance'.....in the last few weeks that has gone from here..

im glad to be here ...and more so since ive been posting! this has always been a place of truth and such for me!

to elaborate...ive commented(for the first time) on the last three Elvis threads.... not old enough to be an EP FAN....but the 'staunch' and almost instant removal of members research and opinions....on a topic that is dismissed almost ''out of hand'' by the mods..and 'off site' contingents ...well it leaves a little bit of a bitter taste...

there's your conspiracy right there clearly one of the mods is john cotter aka elvis....now if only I can figure out which one it is....

Ahh.....that one isn't the mods fault. Someone from the Jon Cotner camp complained....maybe threatened to sue, who knows?

Otherwise the threads would have been left open.

I too wish we could have kept at least one of those threads going. I don't need 53 threads arguing about a government shutdown...WHICH DOESNT EVEN AFFECT ME.

I dont need 100 threads arguing which religion is right, or whos politics are better. That is the exact type of NONSENSE I hear all day, out in the "real" world.....the very thing I DONT want to talk about when I'm on ATS.

Give me more threads about Elvis 'Jon Cotner' Presley......about ancient civilizations, aliens, ghosts, bigfoot, now THAT stuff is fun

ATS isn't my first venture into "conspiracy forums". Like many others here.....I've been a member on a few others....most of which are known to many ATSers. While I find that ATS is LIGHT YEARS ahead of the other popular ones, for no less than 100+ reasons......there are still a few particular things about ATS which I DONT LIKE. I suppose there is a trade off for EVERYTHING though, isn't there? Considering I have no desire to ever make my own conspiracy forum.....I have to stick it out with the one I find better than the rest. That happens to be ATS

The one thing that I will say about the Elvis threads is this. Above top secret has the best and brightest debunkers that you will find anywhere , and they really researched this topic very well.
With three long threads and many posters there was not one solid piece of evidence debunking the claim , in fact the more digging that was done here , the bigger the pile of strange coincidences became.

I think the thread you were talking about It's called Cotnergate. LOL.

And I wouldn't worry too much about that. Threads can sometimes go too far. I'm sure there were numerous T&C violations in that thread. The mods were doing their job. I read that thread also and was beginning to feel a certain momentum that seemed just 'wrong', not in a bad way or evil way, but in a way that was simply the wrong direction. I don't know either.

If there had been a strong moderator who had stepped up and worked that thread in a better direction, that thread might have had a chance in hell. Seriously, I don't know what went wrong. Under the terms & conditions the Mods make that judgement call... not you or I.

Your introduction here could be considered to be a form of protest about ATS so be careful to follow the rules. After that you should exercise caution in your posts. There are several good ways that you could contribute to the ATS culture that you belong to. Content. Content. And more Content.

Content is important because when you create content it all goes into the NSA PRISM double plus good computer mainframes. Every single character you type on this site is under analysis by A.I. that has not yet been born.

not true, i'm afraid. how many here have debunked and helped expose the fake video broadcast
to us on 9/11? very few. is it because ATS relegates any thread revealing this truth into the Ludicrous Online Lies forum? another truth they don't want you knowing - quite yet!

in light of the elvis thing, I urge you people to think. Think.
