Hey, not too bad. Just finished 2nd cycle of chemo, which has been pretty rough, but starting to feel better this week.just very tired all the time. Just hope I can stay out of hospital, I had to admitted for 24hr observations just before Christmas,as I was running temp. Had to spend the whole time in a room on my own away from other patients, but was well looked after. Just need to avoid infections, which isn't easy at this time of year.

I can still hear the fusing of the cranium in my head, which sounds like a clicking in your head. Can be annoying. I'll have a scan after my 3rd round of chemo to see how things are going. Its difficult to know without a scan. I've had so much done to the area, its difficult to tell what's going on.

So Sod's law struck about an hour after giving that update last night. I had a big seizure, the worst since my tumour came back. I'm utterly depressed. From feeling on the mend to feeling like this in less than 24hrs.

So now were back to scans and waiting for results. Its relentless. I really am trying to keep it together, but feel like I'm up the creek and someone's just taken my paddle.

Sir Woodwardjnr:

Not certain if you remember me (predominately "song game", lol) but just noticed this thread & wanted to add my heart-felt support, thoughts, & prayers for your precious life!

I'm calling you "Sir" for a reason. To me, & though it might sound cliche &/or corny, you represent all qualities of a true knight in armor: bravery, courage, wisdom, mindfulness, and motivation... & on the trivial physical realm, handsome to boot...

Is the Queen taking on-line applications for knighthood? I shall research further & encourage others to do the same even if we must contact Her via snail mail. She has made Sirs of many undeserving IMO, so it's about time she recognize the *true* heroes!

Are there any anti-seizures you can take within your protocol?

HOPE...there is always hope & I hope things will get along in your direction again...you are living proof...just another bump in the road...temporary...hang in there....

I know you understand the difference in the concepts, you might not like reggae, & I don't mean to derail your thread, but this song is dedicated to you for your past, present, & future:

Hugs. Peace, my brother...

Grrrrr @ your stoooopid tumour.

Well, I have faith the seizure is a sign of some inflammation and not a tumour regrowth. Thats our story and I'm sticking to it Woody.

*shakes fist at your wonky brain cells.

*Bear hugs woody.

My thoughts and prayers are still with you. I can't express how much my heart goes out to you through words. Life throws us so much suffering at times... And I know it's to make us grow stronger..but man sometimes this suffering can be such a heavy burden.

Never give up ... And keep your head held high with positive thoughts. I know depression very well and it's no good to have.

I am under diff circumstances ... But I am being tested to break. And I have no room to fall and break. So I will keep going and just have hope that everything will turn out for the better.

Peace and love and hugs to you my friend ~~~>>>

Grab that paddle back and keep rowing. You're strong enough to do so..I just feel it.

Hey wonderful man! I sent you a pm, but you have not opened it.
I just read about your seizure, so sorry to hear that. Perhaps like Zazz says it is just inflammation. Let us hope anyway. Have you any results of scans yet? I am doing ok. Still walking like Frankenstein all stiff and slow. Hang in there honey. Love ya, b.

So to update, I had a scan last Friday after a number of intense seizures. The scan shows no reoccurrence of the tumour, just post surgery effects. I'm ecstatic with the news, especially after suffering my worst seizure yesterday, when I literally couldn't move my left hand side. I was convinced the tumour was back and today we would be discussing more surgery, but no, it's back on with the chemo a change of seizure medication and one very happy woodwardjnr.

Thanks for all your support throughout what has been one of the most stressful periods in this journey and my life.
