What is it with people on this site mocking the doom-porners? Each to their own I would say.

I am not hurting anyone, I have not commited a crime.

I enjoy the threads about asteroids, financial collapse and pandemics. It's entertaining and gets you thinking 'What if?'. What's wrong with that?

Gotta say i love it too i long for the new nibiru or ison threads. So much fun to read one of these days one will end up coming ture. The ones i dont like are the dated ones like the world ends on so and so and so and so.

I have to agree with you. I too, love the doom porn. There are worse things to love though like long walks off of short piers.

Different strokes for different folks. I have a feeling that there are MANY folks who love it too that will deny, deny, deny!

Another thing that amuses me is naysayers posting about new doom porn and saying 'It's not true but I wanted to post it anyway, not that I'm interested, at all, not even a little bit'.

Leave the doom porn for us doom-porners if it barely interests you.

Man wants chaos. In fact, he's gotta have it. Depression, strife, riots, murder, all this dread. We're irresistibly drawn to that almost orgiastic state created out of death and destruction. It's in all of us. We revel in it. Sure, the media tries to put a sad face on these things, painting them up as great human tragedies. But we all know the function of the media has never been to eliminate the evils of the world, no. Their job is to persuade us to accept those evils and get used to living with them. The powers that be want us to be passive observers.

It's only interesting to me if it's only a few day off, I don't like the ones that I have to wait a year or more for.

okay i'm not sendin a link to a yatoob video cause necrophagia videos to watch them would be in the vein of ron jeremy depicting ed gein, but is good deathmetal. but lots of stuff from the 70's and 80's goes with it really well. some modern stuff too you just have to have scenes with no music to appreciate the enhancing quality that makes deathmetal interact with even vampire porn and kinda brings out a third dimension especially with kush

I just discovered A "remote veiwer", Major Ed Dames on youtube
He is predicting a Kill Shot" solar event to occur in the next 2 months (2013)

I also found youtube posts of Art Bell's Coast to Coast radio show from September 1 1998 featuring Ed Dames predicting the exact same "Kill Shot" event to occur before Janurary 1 2000.
Even stating to callers, "Y2K is nothing to concern ourselves with because we won't be around (like in we'll all be dead).

So hey maybe he's only 15 years off........... no big deal.......right???

And, if you think about it Y2K turned out to be nothing to worry about afterall!

I do think love of doom is in all of us. Most people don't want to admit it though because of the mockers. Frick the mockers!

Doom porn is fun to post because then, when the doom doesn't happen, it's fun to say 'I told you so'. Its' one of the fun things that we can do at ATS ...
