My opinion sucks because it differs from yours ? You do not want me discussing it on here because my opinion differs from yours ? Tough, I'm here and so is my opinion. I have made more than two posts and ALL of my posts have been right on topic. I suggest you go and reread them. If you do not want differing opinions then I suggest you take your very obviously angry tone and agenda and leave . Go have your discussion on a pro gay forum instead of one that shares both sides of the coin.

I've told you this 3 times now. Your reaction each time is to get defensive and say that I'm getting upset with you because we disagree.

Are you 12 ? You posted an article about people protesting Barilla Pasta company because of their anti gay stance but then said you do not wish to discuss the article you posted ? How am I derailing the thread ? You say Barilla and conservatives are causing a collective anti gay mentality. I pointed out that it does not matter at all whether they are pro gay or anti gay. They are not causing any form of collective hatred for gays. Ridiculous

EVERYONE is ENTITLED to their beliefs and how dare these gay men and women and the extreme liberals try and tell me and everyone else what we should think, who we should be what we should buy etc....

I'm tired of it, im tired of the agenda being shoved down my thorat and ANY time I can help someone or their business from being trashed because they voiced their honest opinions...I will. The CEO did not trash talk gays but with the way many of the gays are acting you would think he called for them to be burned at the stake.

The funny thing is that you're saying people have the right to their opinion. But when the gays express their opinion on this guy's opinion, you tell them to keep their opinion to themselves.

I wish I could applaud you myself for being the first person to read the OP and post on topic.

It's like there are other out there who enjoy reading more than just the threa title and regurgitating what they think they should say to get social currency from what they think is the majority vote of that site.

Then again, look here on ATS at this very thread; it's the exact same thing, so I'm not sure you can rip into Yahoo and Facebook too much. People give eachother stars for posting off-topic opinions as long as they are on the same track as the group-think.

Nope, you so far are the only one telling people to keep their opinions to themselves. I have not said your opinion is not welcome. You are entitled to it no matter how much I disagree with it and think it's warped and perverted. I have no worries about it. Tell me how conservatives come into play because Barilla disagrees with the gay agenda ? You assume that all conservatives are anti gay. I do not consider myself conservative or liberal. I do tend to vote based on moral topics though which would typically steer me more to the conservative side.

Love me, accept me, define me, just do not ever disagree with me. It is very hard to discuss a thread that the OP continuously attempts to derail by disciplining the participants because him is having a widdle tantrum because people disagree with him. Looks like you should be the one to be temporarily banned for derailing.

You posted this on ATS knowing that everything aside (whether we stayed EXACTLY on topic or not) that people would disagree with you. I would say that following your logic then AT&T and Ernst and Young are turning the masses pro gay . Works on both sides of the fence. Those two horrible corporations threatened the BSA with force to compromise to their pro gay agenda. I do not see Barilla trying to do that at all.

This thread was not created to discuss your opinions on the Barilla CEO's statements.

This thread was created to discuss a growing social construct that has come with the age of the internet, Barilla was used as an example of people getting back-pats for saying stupid things

If you look at what's quoted in the OP, it's not a matter of opinion at all, I quoted a person who ha no idea what the word "boycott" meant, and made a post opposing boycotting, and got a huge amount of support for it.

THIS THREAD WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH PEOPLES' OPINIONS ON BARILLA BEYOND THAT
