Basically it is set now and in 2020 after the 4th gulf war and the collapse of the banks and the collapse of society etc, It focuses on two german sisters and I don't want to spoil it but I loved it, it scared me a little and I can see something like this happening in the future.
It is a German movie a little slow but it does pull you in.

In about half an hour, will have a gander, it's got english subs so I should be ok.

It's funny, I said only yesterday that "You cant watch books!" when asked had I not heard of a book, which I've only seen as a movie. lol

subtitles. I hope they're accurate too, haha didn't think of that. whoever did Cloud Atlas did a shocking job. If you like movies that delve into possible futures, thats a great one, very quirky and disjointed though! I say delve into the future, it's really more of an epic saga from the 1800's to the distant future.

Looks great and I love the cinematography! Ugh! made me realize my German is horrible I think I understood about 5 words LOL I will have to watch a subtitled version...
