That is incorrect, no one is exempt. People will believe anything that backs up what they already believe or hope to be true or their existing worldview.

Will Congress heed the warning on their Obamacare exemptions?
Democrats Act to Stop Vitter Amendment, Keep Obamacare Exemptions for Congress
Congress’s Exemption from Obamacare
Make Congress get insurance the same way the little people do? Hill denizens howl in fury.

What I think this effort is for, is to VOICE the points, that concern Cruz in regards to how the Senate is planning to take on the House resolution...
It's pretty shady to pull that cloiture deal that Reid wants, to essentially eliminate an actual floor debate in the Senate... it also removes the usual 60 threshold and changes it to a 51 majority vote...
Reid plans on adding 1 amendment prior to vote, that being, a reversal of the House vote to defund, and fund the ACA...
There have been quite a few moments so far in which Cruz has reflected the frustration of the status quo in our current Congress, this cloiture deal would allow all 46 REP Sens to vote NO (so they can tell tehir constituents that they voted against the AMA) while still full knowing that the Dems have the majority to cover the 51....
If it was a normal Senate floor deal, you would hear arguments, amendments from both sides, etc... basicly the 100 sens doing their job...
Not pulling some crap like cloiture, and pushing this through since they are "Once Again" running out of time...
More power to him, happy to see so many Sens pop on this evening, even Durbin... Cruz must be creating a buzz for him to have so many visitors... Originally I heard he may have a couple show up to voice their thoughts, I have seen 5 so far (could have missed some from earlier, didn't catch it til 6PM EST)

I like this Ted Cruz guy. Seeing a senator who actually represents the people is a rare sight.

You actually believe this guy represents the people? You don't think he is a pure politician? He renounced his Canadian citizenship for no good reason whatsoever. Just for political reasons. If you renounce your citizenship for politics, what else will you do?

So sad that he GOP are playing political football with the nation's finances.
How sad would this have been in the 90's or even in the early 2000's?
Republicans for shame.
Not that I"m a fan of ObamaCare or anything, but repealing that legislation, without control of the Senate or the WH is an exercise in insanity.
I bet you John Boehner wants to kill himself.

Wouldn't trust this at all. Ted Cruz is about as anti-liberty as they come.
It's all for show people.
