I think it's possible if sleeping close by to the other person we could share dreams. I only say this because my cat always sleeps beside my head and one night I dreamt I was eating a mouse! I figure I had her dream lol. I can still taste it when I think about it. Pretty gross. I was crunching the bones and the tail was hanging out of my mouth the way a cat eats one.

Reason I ask is because years ago I was having a dream, it was a bit crazy but when I woke my wife's hand was touching my arm and she was talking in her sleep. The shocking part was she was saying the same words that was within my dream. It freaked me out so I woke her up and asked her what she was dreaming about . She told me her dream and it was the same dream I was having.

So I thought maybe because she was touching me during my dream and since we have a close connection to each other that her subconscious was able to pick up on what I was dreaming.

After I spoke to her about it she said that has happened to her a few others times when she was young with her twin sister.

IDK, just a thought.....

I know a number of people for the last 40 years have predicted that at least the lower half of Florida ceases to exist--under water.

I think that the bulk of Florida is very doomed. Very doomed.

I'd sure move if at all possible. I don't think there's any land in Florida high enough for what may be coming.

Particularly if the Canary Islands thing goes.

A volcano in the Gulf is a new one, on me, however.

We have a link with those who we are related to and sometimes even people we know well. This can mean that we can share dreams. Lots of times we do not remember dreams, maybe we are linked with others and share dreams more than we know. Maybe our subconscious helps to moderate our children's dreams without even consciously know it. This would be hard to get proof of with our present technology though, so what I say is just imagination.

Well, I think that small children are tuned into the minds of their parents, and pick up on thoughts, images, and concepts from them.

But I had a dream a while ago about a volcanic eruption in the middle of the mediterranean, and tsunamis as a result, here in the south of France. It was very realistic, and a voice narrated, showing me a map, and where the eruption happens.

I just read the other thread, in which someones autistic son foresaw a volcanic eruption in the San Francisco Bay- with resulting flooding and destruction....

At this point, I am thinking the "underwater unexpected volcanic eruption in a body of water" concept is rather rampant through the collective subconscious!

It could be a literal prophecy (but then where? Surely not all these places??) or it could have less literal meaning for us- like a sudden eruption of primal energy coming up from the depths of our subconscious, which destroys our previous beliefs and framework of thought concerning our reality.
I don't know, but I find it significant that this is such a common vision, but in so many different places, each of us seeing it in bodies of water near where we, ourselves, live!

This is really weird, I have been keeping up with another thread about an autistic boy who is predicting that something is going to happen in California on October 1. Hang with me a second, I'll get to my point.

A few years back, I was on youtube, and there is a video of Obama saying there was a state of emergency in California and Florida, total devastation, and all that, there is still one on there, BUT, here's the kicker...

I saw one that night, and it is not the one on there, youtube....The one I saw, Obama is speaking in what looked like a hotel hallway, he looked like he just stepped off a golf course, he was wearing an off white polo shirt, and black pants. And pretty much said the same thing. The way he was speaking, like he was in shock. I even tried to find it again, and haven't found it......

The one on there even says it's for entertainment purposes only........that is not the one I seen.......

I shared the same dream with my dog once. You don't want to know how it went next though..

Some thing to think about: - if prophecies were meant to be unconditional then WHY even give them?

A conditional prophecy is designed to bring about a CHANGE.

This is the reason that true prophets are always labeled as false.

If a prophecy is of something God will do in response to what man may or may not do, then the foretold event is conditional on the actions of man. A good example of this is, again, the prophesied destruction of Ninevah. Jonah prophesied:

"... Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown." (Jonah 3:4)

Was Ninevah overthrown in forty days? No. Then, as we said before, the prophecy was obviously conditional. Was Jonah's prediction of the destruction of Ninevah a failed prophecy? It would seem so - at first. But when we examine the purpose of the prophecy we get a different picture.

If Ninevah had not repented and had been destroyed, what Jonah said would have come true but there is a sense in which the prophecy would have failed. A conditional prophecy designed to bring a change in man could be said to fail if it does not bring about the desired result. God was not just thinking "I haven't used any fire and brimstone lately; I think I should destroy Ninevah." No, God, in His love for the Ninevites, was seeking only the best for them - their repentance and their salvation.

What looked like a failed prophecy was actually a success. Jonah's prophecy succeeded because it brought about the desired result - the larger goal of repentance. Think about it - if prophecies were meant to be unconditional then why even utter them? Just destroy Ninevah and be done with it. Why cause 40 days of needless anxiety to a whole city? The objective of giving a prophecy containing a promise or a threat is to encourage repentance and/or obedience.

I had a strange dream last night.

And I had another strange dream the night before.

Last nights dream goes a bit like this...

There was a threat that was endangering earth. I cant remember exactly what the threat was.
But my mission in the dream was to get a hold of a device, to steal it in order to defeat the threat.(I think it may have been extra terrestrial).

I succeeded in getting the device, and when I took the device to my superior it was then my task to activate the device.
When I did activate the device, my superior then told me that I had activated the doomsday device, it was the end of all mankind. I had unwittingly rebooted the universe.


The dream from the night before goes a little like this.

I had travelled back in time into the 50's, it was a really strange dream it was like my time travelling back then to meet and interact with the people of the time in some way explained all the events that were happening now, and why people did the things they do now. This particular dream really struck me as being important, because its the only dream I can ever remember waking from then going back into. It felt like a long dream that lasted the whole night, it had continuity and wasnt abstract.

I think I may be spending a little too much time on ATS.

I want to say first to you Op, don't worry. Whatever is meant to be... will be. Focus on the love you have around you and do not fret over things yet happened.

Also, I have never had the same dream as my kids, not to mention we have never felt the same thing as in what you are describing.

However many years ago when my daughter was a toddler I had a recurring dream that I fell asleep at the wheel, we went into the lake, and I frantically tried and did save her and her blanky. When she outgrew her blanky I continued having the same dream without saving it too. My point is, for me, I have dreams that HELP me through my life's trying times. I know why I continued having the dream.

You have to figure out what this dream means for you and your family because the dream is your experience and solely yours to figure out.

You and your daughter may very well be experiencing something that will happen in the future, happened in the past, or may happen in another state. Who knows?

For me, I wouldn't worry nor would I move. I would just keep it in the back of my mind and live life to the fullest. We are all destined to die. Don't worry about saving yourself and family from a state of bliss and settle for Earthly things that aren't even meaningful. Love is where it's at.

This deserves it's own thread. Start a thread on this subject. Really. It's interesting.

I have to look at it another way, The Children. Who actually listens to most of their story's anyway? Even on TV and big Screen, children told their parent's about something and was cast aside as storytelling. Now why would they Main Stream that idea?

Listen to your children always! Sometimes it's changing your brain mood your in and it is something interesting to listen too!

As for my dream, way back 10yrs. Was in a basement looking at a map of the US. People were coming over to see
how they could get to the other side of the US.

Remember some of it; just the map stay's with me now. Us is split in half, a river; well from Denver, Colo to Goodland, KS, large river! Run's straight down the Rockie Mountains to TX and Turn's going east somewhat around to the miss river and back down.

Won't go into childhood dream's though. Do not want to change this to doom porn.
